Artur Zai Barrera, born in Kabul to an Afghani Pashtun father from the Stanikzai tribe (Kabul province) and a Spanish-Indigenous (Pueblo) mother, has had a richly diverse upbringing across London, Dubai, Istanbul, Mexico, Ukraine, and Los Angeles. A skilled baritone with an impressive vocal range of A1-F5, Artur won the 2020 ISC Reggaeton competition. He will soon be seen in The Old Man Season 2, portraying Omar opposite Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow.
