Ed Pawka was a career US Navy pilot spanning bi-planes to supersonic jets. During his time being stationed at NAS North Island in San Diego, he did the flying for a couple of movies including "Dive Bomber" (1941) in which he appeared in a couple of scenes and had a speaking line. During a scene where a plane is making an erratic landing approach, he says "The RAF! He's way off his beam".
