Jason Willis is a Make-Up and Make-Up FX Artist based in Wilmington, NC with more than 2 decades of film and TV experience. At a very early age, Jason knew he wanted to become a professional make-up artist. Though he has housed and sold his ceramic art work in several boutique art galleries and performed professionally on numerous stages throughout the Southeastern US as a musician, the desire to pursue make-up as a profession was never satisfied. After receiving a BFA in Studio Art, Jason began his film industry career in the independent film circuit while studying at Complections, Intl. Makeup Academy in Toronto, Canada. After residing for nearly 2 years in both Toronto and Vancouver, Jason returned to the U.S. and found his permanent home in NC. Some of his early credits include the award-winning indie feature "Hound Dog", NBC Universal's smash television hit "Surface" and Hallmark Hall of Fame's "The Water is Wide". Jason has furthered his career working with directors like Jack Bender, Lasse Hallstrom, Ti West, David Gordon Green, Steven Soderbergh, Brad Anderson and Scott Derrickson to name a few. His work has been featured on such projects as "The Hunger Games", A&E/History Channel's "Six", Cinemax's "Banshee - season 1", CBS's "Under the Dome - seasons 1-3", Audience Network's "Mr. Mercedes-seasons 1 - 2", and most recently on the feature films "Scream 5" and "The Black Phone".
