Rhys Athayde is an Indian-American actor. Born and raised in New York City, Rhys began his pursuit of being an actor by starring in school theater productions such as, "Damn Yankees," "Bye Bye Birdie," "9 To 5," and many others as early as seven years old. In his twenties, Rhys went on to star in commercials for Lexus, Toyota, and Brooks running shoes.

In 2023, Rhys made his film debut as the "Orderly" in the independent film "Nobody's Home." Most recently, Rhys starred as "Joel" in "Guns Up" with Kevin James, Christina Ricci, and Timothy Murphy, which is slated for a 2024 release!

Rhys has studied with Gregory Berg (Berg Studios), at the Groundlings School, with Travis Wong (Joining All Movement Gymnasium), and many others!
