Szu-Ying Chien was born on 22 February 1910 in China. She was an actress and costume designer, known for In the Mood for Love (2000), Snake in the Eagle's Shadow (1978) and Huangjiang nüxia (1930). She was married to Chung-Ho Hung. She died on 15 October 2007 in Hong Kong.
