Joseph "Giuseppe" Tapiro was born in Northern California. Primarily raised by his grandparents and single mother after living in the Bay Area, he moved to Stockton, CA, where he spent most of his young adult life. His ancestry is primarily Italian and Portuguese.

Surrounded by classical art, music, and film under the guidance of his grandparents, Joseph was immersed in the arts at a young age and quickly found a calling as a musician and actor.

Joseph's most recent film debut was a leading role in the romantic comedy, Eat Your Heart Out (2023).
