Emmettia Alise Henderson (Any Pronouns: They, He, She) is an actor, dancer, creator, performer, and imagineer, Emmettia aspires to diverge their own path within the artistic world. Graduated from New York University Tisch School for the Arts with a BFA in Drama, specifically studying with the Experimental Theater Wing. By combining musicology, dramaturgy, and choreography in the ritualistic practice of theater, they strives to use this form as a method of telling stories to represent real people in the real world and as a method of de-stigmatizing issues. But, most importantly creating theater that can be used as a tool; a loudspeaker for those in the depths of silence; a tool that lifts up others, and is a voice for the voiceless. Through embodied work she hopes to provide a realistic lens of the queer experience; specifically for those little queer or non-binary kids who also love theater with their entire body and soul, for them to feel belonging and to see themselves within Emmettia and their work. They have recently been featured in "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" Season 5.
