With the Anti-Monitor on the loose, a whole host of heroes assemble to save the Multiverse, but it looks like that will be easier said than done when they also have Lex Luthor to contend with. Several other villains are also spotted, including The Joker, Scarecrow, and Two-Face.

The sequel to 2010’s legendary animated film Megamind was released recently on Peacock to negative responses and extreme criticism. Megamind vs. The Doom Syndicate acted as a sequel as well as a pilot for Peacock’s Megamind Rules! TV show. Craig McCracken’s “Kid Cosmic” is one of the best animated shows of the past few years, bursting with heart and imagination. And while it debuted on Netflix almost exactly a year ago, it has already cycled through three seasons and 24 half-hour episodes. And while it is sad to see the show go, it ends in a way that is both emotionally satisfying and extremely entertaining (we are forbidden from discussing details).

The Waltons’ Homecoming marks the 50th anniversary of The Homecoming: A Christmas Story television movie, which aired December 19, 1971, and launched the long-running series The Waltons. Bellamy Young (Scandal) stars as Olivia, Logan Shroyer (This Is Us) as John Boy and Richard Thomas, who originally starred as John Boy Walton in The Waltons series, as “The Narrator.”

In “The Scooby-Doo Reunion Special,” the Mystery Inc. gang reunites at Warner Bros. Studios to reminisce about their favorite cases and how they were filmed. But it turns out that the backlot may have its own monster problem. Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo investigate this mystery while celebrating the legacy of the franchise during this one-hour special.

Jonathan Stern will executive produce the special, which hails from Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Bros. Unscripted Television in association with Warner Horizon and Abominable Pictures.

First up is Beebo Saves Christmas, a one-hour animated adventure in which “everyone’s favorite fuzzy toy turned furry god [from DC’s Legends of Tomorrow] will once again be a hero as he hopes to save Christmas. When Sprinkles, an efficiency-obsessed elf, decides that Christmas would run better without Santa Claus, Beebo and his friends travel to the North Pole to help discover what truly makes Christmas meaningful.”

Surprising to some, Batman and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have some commonalities. After all, the half-shell heroes were initially created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird as a parody of Frank Miller’s work on Daredevil, before coming to DC and turning his talents to The Dark Knight. Both properties work best in the shadows and had the producers of this animated adventure leaned into that, this could have been a cut above an obvious cash grab.

The participants have met before, in three miniseries from DC Comics and Idw in addition to one strictly set in their “Adventures” incarnations, aimed more at all-ages readers. Burbank, CA – Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, in partnership with DC, are currently in production on five new DC Showcase animated shorts for release in 2019-2020.

Inspired by characters and stories from DC’s robust portfolio, the all-new series of shorts will be included on upcoming DC Universe Movies releases, with exception of an innovative Batman: Death in the Family long-form animated short, which will anchor a compilation set for distribution in late 2020.

Each of the five shorts – entitled Sgt. Rock, Adam Strange, Death, The Phantom Stranger and Batman: Death in the Family – opens with a new, live-action branding sequence that features a few Easter Eggs specially added for observant fans.

Sgt. Rock is executive produced and directed by Bruce Timm (Batman: The Animated Series) from a script by award-winning comics writers Louise Simonson & Walter Simonson and Tim Sheridan (Reign of the Supermen). The original tale finds battle-weary Sgt.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released a new clip from DC’s upcoming animated film Batman Vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The clip happens to be the opening scene of the movie and it focuses on the Ninja Turtles as they descend on Gotham City. As you might imagine, Batman is not happy upon hearing about these “lizard men” from Batgirl.

This clip features the Foot Clan descending “upon Powers Industrial, where Barbara Gordon, aka Batgirl (voiced by Crazy Ex-Girlfriend's producer/star Rachel Bloom) is getting a first-hand look at an extremely powerful generator.”

The first trailer for Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has arrived, along with the reveal of it’s stacked voice cast as well as the film’s eventual home video release. Based on the six part comic crossover of the same name, the recently confirmed animated film looks to be a pretty close adaptation of it’s source material. There’s some pretty awesome moments in the trailer, so hopefully the final film will live up to the promise that this first look provides.

Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be available on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack ($39.99 Srp) and Blu-ray Combo Pack ($24.98 Srp), as well as on Digital. The 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack features an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc in 4K with Hdr and a Blu-ray disc featuring the film; the Blu-ray Combo Pack features the film in hi-definition. The 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray Combo Pack include a digital version of the film.

The first trailer has ben released for DC Animation’s highly anticipated new film Batman Vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! This movie looks like a blast, and as you’ll see, they packed everything they possibly could from both universes into this thing!

While it’s cool to see Batman face off with the Ninja Turtles at first, one of the best parts is seeing a clip of Batman fighting Shredder!

DC Entertainment and Nickelodeon have teaming up to produce the film which is based on the Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics miniseries by James Tynion IV and Freddie Williams II. The story “will see the turtles meeting Batman via a transdimensional encounter, and feature our heroes teaming up to face Batman's deadly rogues gallery.”

We have known for sometime that an updated version of the beloved Disney animated series DuckTales is coming soon, but now we know when to watch our favorite adventures in Duckburg.

EW reports the new series will begin with airing a one-hour TV movie on August 12, beginning at midnight. Then the show will officially launch with two new episodes on September 23 on Disney Xd, VOD, and the network’s app.

DuckTales features the voices of David Tennant, Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz, Bobby Moynihan, Kate Micucci, Beck Bennett, Toks Olagundoye, Tony Anselmo, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Allison Janney, Margo Martindale, Paul F. For folks like me, DuckTales played a big part in your childhood. Between the comedy and mix of high adventure, it helped to scratch a very specific itch on TV shows that not a lot of animated series did back then. However, as great as iconic I found the series to be, perhaps what it’s best known for is its catchy opening theme. As someone who watched the show, catching that opening them was an integral part of the actual experience of watching the show (very much how the opening of an anime is an integral part of the show itself).

For as long as we’ve known that Disney Xd would be reviving DuckTales for a modern audience, we’ve been wondering how they’d handle the opening theme.

In case you weren't getting enough Duck-News, more characters have just been revealed for the exciting Ducktales reboot. 

Earlier this week. Entertainment Weekly announced a great deal of supporting characters that will be in the series. First off, we have Gyro Gearloose. This is the crazy inventor who created Gizmoduck (Lin Manuel Miranda) and he will be voiced by Community's Jim Rash. From the looks of it, he almost looks more like a hipster inventor than a crazy inventor.

Next, we have the 2nd richest duck of Duckberg, Scrooge's rival, Flintheart Glomgold, who will be played by Keith Ferguson. The Beagle Boys will be returning with Ma Beagle. All the Beagle Boys will be voiced by Eric Bauza, while Ma Beagle will be played by Margo Martindale. Allison Janney will also be joining the series as Scrooge's old love interest Goldie O'Gilt. Disney Xd has cancelled its animated Wander Over Yonder TV series after the second season. Creator Craig McCracken broke the news that there would be no third season, on Tumblr.

The voice cast of Wander Over Yonder stars Jack McBrayer as Wander and April Winchell as Sylvia. Lord Hater is voiced by Keith Ferguson. Tom Kenny voices Commander Peepers. Sam Riegel recurs as Emperor Awesome. Fred Tatasciore voices the masked Lord Dominator. Noël Wells supplies the character's unmasked voice.

I am childfree this week (it's sleep-away camp time), but that doesn't mean I don't have recommendations for what you and your kids should see during family movie time. Without the kids around to help pick the movies, I've selected three titles I think adults will enjoy as much as kids (that means no CGI-live action hybrids, no offense to "Smurfs" or "Alvin and the Chipmunks" fans).
