Sabine Kotzur was born in Berlin, German Democratic Republic or East Germany. She studied acting at 'Hochschule für Musik und Theater "Hans Otto"' in Leipzig. She worked an the National Theater Weimar, at the theater in Erfurt, at the 'Störtebeker Festspielen' in Ralswiek and in some roles in television productions. In the year 2002 Kotzur was engaged at "Theater Vorpommern" in Greifswald.
