- Attended the University of Texas in Austin in mid-70's and performed as vocalist in The Longhorn Singers, The Innervisions of Blackness and The Varsity Singers.
- Performed and crowned "Mr. NAACP, Youth Division" in 1974 at the NAACP Convention, New Orleans, Louisiana.
- Served in US Air Force in early 80's, and performed in "Tops in Blue".
- Toured in 1991 as a background vocalist for the late R&B/Jazz chantuese and actress, Phyllis Hyman, most notably of Broadway's Sophisticated Ladies fame.
- Toured with Christian musical/acting ensemble, Festival of Praise, in 1979, throughout the United States.
- Received SAG Card on first feature, Philadelphia, in 1991, on a scene cut from the final release.
- Is an accomplished singer and songwriter with five independent releases as vocalist and several more as a producer.
- Is a spiritual counselor.
