Clint James is an American actor known for his dark and sinister characters he has portrayed over the years in multiple film and television productions. In August of 2002, after serving nearly 9 years in the United States Air Force, he left his military career to pursue his acting career full-time. His television debut was WGN's hit series Salem (2014) where he played the towns Blacksmith, a role that later became a recurring for him. Clint subsequently took on the role as the cunning, snake bitten, and deranged Leland in AMC's post-apocalyptic horror drama television series Fear the Walking Dead (2015) and the hard-luck, quick to act, gambling addict, Solomon 'Sol' Pensky in the CBS/Universal Television and CBS Television Studios FBI: Most Wanted (2020). Although these type of characters tend to gravitate toward him, Clint enjoys comedy and strives to become more involved in these production in the future. His feature film Pure O (2023) had its world premiere at the SXSW film festival March 2023, where it was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize for Best Narrative Feature. In the film, Clint plays a true-to-life character named Rodney, who has been struggling with OCD for many years. Additionally, Clint portrays James Robertson, the father of Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson, in the feature film The Blind (2023) which was released September 22, 2023. Most recently, Clint has taken on the role of John Shelby in season 2 of the series Crash the System (2022) and the role of Eddie West in Law & Order (1990) .
