Isabella Acres is an accomplished young actress who has shared the screen with some of Hollywood's finest. She played Sally Field's friend/matchmaker as Vivian in the feature film 'Hello My Name Is Doris', and flexed her comedic chops with Tim Robbins as young Cynthia Morehouse in 'Spoils of Babylon' on IFC. Her recent credits include Hulu's 'Into The Dark', 'Station 19', and an upcoming horror short 'Lisa'. She portrays the role of a tough chola teen in the feature 'Girl Flu'. Isabella portrayed Mirabelle in Amazon's 'The Kicks' as a series regular. Previously, Isabella played Rose (Series Regular) on the ABC comedy 'Better Off Ted', recurred on Fox's 'Touch' starring Keifer Sutherland, and recurred as Jenny Hunter-McDermott on ABC's 'Desperate Housewives'. Other film roles include the lead in 'Kaylien' (Zoe Saldana, dir.), and supporting roles in 'Sister' (David Lascher,dir.), 'The Future' (Miranda July, dir.), and Hallmark's 'Beyond The Blackboard'.
Not only has Isabella portrayed leading roles in television and film, she has received glowing reviews for her performance on stage as the lead Shirley Abramowitz in 'Coney Island Christmas', a world premiere at the Geffen Playhouse written by Donald Margolies.
Isabella is also an accomplished voice actor, portraying multiple recurring roles such as Jade in Disney's 'Sofia The First', Katie in 'Phineas and Ferb', and Cartoon Network's 'Adventure Time' as Young Princess Bubblegum. Isabella voiced the lead villain Maryanne Gleardon in 'Scooby Doo Mystery Inc.', and the lead character Lilly in the animated film, 'An Abominable Christmas'.
Bella's ethnic background is Hispanic, Irish and English. When she was a young child her family relocated to Los Angeles, CA where she and her sister Ava Acres were discovered performing in a children's community theater. In her free time, Bella enjoys writing scripts, singing, songwriting, guitar, dance (contemporary, hip hop, jazz), and Muay Thai martial arts.
