Michael (aka Mike) Alexander was born in Sweden and raised in Connecticut. After earning a graduate degree in journalism from the University of Missouri, he moved to Los Angeles to work as a staff reporter for "People" magazine. He later worked in late-night television as a producer on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" (1992-2014) and "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (2014-2015). He presently works for the social-media platform, The IAm App. He is married to Linda Daly and has two stepchildren. The family resides in Los Angeles.
