Gavin Weightman was born on 4 March 1945 in Gosforth, Newcastle on Tyne, England, UK. He was a producer and director, known for Danny Baker's Londoners (1987), Look Here (1978) and Storm Over 4 (1998). He was married to Clare Beaton and Myra Wilkins. He died on 18 December 2022.
