Laura Palma(I)

Laura Palma was born on January 30, 1985 in Mexico City, the youngest daughter of Laura de la Fuente and Raúl Palma, both Mexican nationals of French and Spanish roots.
Laura was inclined towards art since childhood, taking part early on in school plays and art classes as well as manifesting a particular passion for painting, nature and the fine arts in general.
Laura grew up in Cuernavaca, Morelos, a small city near Mexico City, until the age of eighteen, when, after finishing her high school studies, she moved to Paris, France, where she studied French for a year.
Once back in Mexico City, at the age of nineteen, she entered college, majoring in Industrial Design in 2008, and began her acting career auditioning in castings for TV commercials, as a result of which TV Azteca (one of the two main broadcasting companies in Mexico) encouraged her to study a major in Acting, which she obtained after graduating from the CECAT acting school in 2011, flying that same year to Colombia, where she obtained a lead role in the series "A corazón abierto" -Open Heart- (Latin American version of Grey's Anatomy).
Laura continued her acting studies at the HB Academy in New York City, NY, in 2014, and has starred ever since in various soap operas in Mexico, including "Quiéreme, tonto" -Love Me, Silly- (2010), "Los Rey" - The Kings- (2012), "Corazón en condominio" -Condominium Heart- (2013), "La fiscal de hierro" -The Iron Prosecutor- (2017) and "Las malcríadas" -The Spoiled Brats-. Her work can also be appreciated in the TV series "La hermandad" -The Brotherhood-(2016), "Mex Cam Girlz" (2018), "Luis Miguel: la serie" -Luis Miguel: The Series- (2018), "Alejandra Guzmán: la serie" -Alejandra Guzmán: The Series- (2018) and "Prisionero 01" -Prisoner 01- (2019).
