3x Emmy® Award-Nominated producer and native New Yorker DANTE ALEKSANDER was exposed to the entertainment industry at a very young age by his father, television producer and director Gregori J. Martin.
As a child actor, Aleksander landed his first role in a short film titled IT TAKES TWO and an independent B-horror film, TAKEN 4 GRANTED. He also appeared in several local television commercials and various school plays. However, it wasn't until he appeared in a supporting role in THE SOUTHSIDE, an award-winning biopic about the life and tragic death of Robert Areizaga, Jr. (currently on Amazon) that audiences had the opportunity to see Dante's true acting talents.
Following his role in THE SOUTHSIDE, Aleksander guest appeared on the Emmy-nominated Popstar!TV sitcom THIS JUST IN, followed by a now series regular role in the multiple Emmy Award-winning digital drama series THE BAY. Aleksander also made a guest appearance in CLASS ACT, as well as an upcoming series regular role in a new young adult series "yA," a spin-off of THE BAY.
In addition to his rising professional career, Aleksander attended the University of La Verne where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, alongside newly-landed producing, assistant directing, and theatre directing credits.
