Brit-Chardé Sellers is a NYC based actor. Growing up on Long Island,
Brit found escape in movies. Ever since she saw Jurassic Park and her
friends in the middle school play, she knew she wanted to become an
actor. After auditioning for her middle school play, "Annie" for the
first time ever auditioning, Brit was hooked. She attended classes and
performed in summer theatre at Gateway Playhouse in Bellport, New York,
winning a summer course scholarship. After graduating high school, Brit
studied at the SUNY University at Buffalo in Theatre and Dance with
mentors Stephen McKinley Henderson and Gerald Finnegan.
Since graduating, Brit-Chardé has been working in New York City and was cast as the lead in "Terry Kendall and Orange Green", which garnered critical success and won second place in the Cinema Unseen festival. She also held 7 roles in the all-female adaptation of "Edward II" by Christopher Marlowe at the Wow Café Theatre and was featured in the Logo webseries, "Hunting Season," directed by Jon Marcus where she was voted 3rd for best actress in a webseries on welovesoaps.net for her 30 second stint in Episode 7. Brit is excited to continue her work in New York City.
