Steve Conroy grew up in NW Florida and South Alabama. He worked as a beach lifeguard before he joined the Marine Corps. He served as a Force Recon Marine in Afghanistan and was honorably discharged as a sergeant. While in the marines he went through Airborne, Airborne Jumpmaster, Freefall, Helicopter Rope Suspension Techniques Master training, as well as numerous shooting, medical, and driving courses and obtained an EMT-B license.
Steve is a United States Parachutists Association D License, Coach, Accelerated Freefall Instructor, Tandem Instructor, and PRO rated skydiver with over 3000 jumps. He also was a skydive pilot flying PAC 750s, King Airs, and Twin Otters.
Steve is also an Airline Transport Pilot, Certified Flight Instructor, Commercial Seaplane Pilot, and Commercial Drone Pilot, and is type rated in the King Air 350.
Steve lives in Idaho and Wyoming. Most his free time involves hiking, rafting, back-country flying, hunting, and camping.
