Born and raised in Mexico City, Giovanna Sarquis is a graduate of the American Film Institute. Her passion for storytelling has driven her to write, direct and collaborate in numerous film and new media projects. Some highlights of her work as a writer/director are the short films Lately (2013) and Crayons (2015), that have played in several film festivals across the world; and the web series Before I Got Famous (2016), from which she directed all ten episodes, and was licensed by the online platform Revry.
