Kara Kimmer was born in Durand, Michigan studying dance and classical singing at the Flint Institute of Music. Her training in foreign language led her to compete with arias at a young age, booking her first professional gig in the Broadway Tour of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat" at 13yrs old. Kimmer graduated from Oakland University with a BA in Music Theatre Dance where she split her time working as an NBA Detroit Pistons Cheerleader and as a singer in the Detroit Opera's "Pirates of Penzance". She then moved to New York City landing a role in "A Funny Thing Happened on the way to the Forum" placing her as a member of AEA. She continued to work with Tony award director Darko Tresnjak in "Carnival" as well as a featured vocalist with Marvin Hamlisch at The Library of Congress. Kara headed South for the film industry where she works as an actress and voice over artist.
