Emily Ann Scott is an actress, screenwriter, and filmmaker living. Born and raised in the literal middle of nowhere - Shelbyville, Indiana - Emily graduated from Indiana University with a Theatre and Drama degree. She has worked as an actress in theatre, film, and television of all genres, but specializes in writing and acting comedy and dramedy.

Emily began writing her own films when she realized the lack of complex women's stories in mainstream media and decided to spread her feminist agenda as far as she could reach. She is an award-winning screenwriter with recognition from competitions such as Austin Film Fesival, TalNexus, BlueCat, Screencraft Pilot Launch, the Broad Humor Film Festival, and the Independent Horror Movie Awards.

Highlights of Emily's career so far include playing Martha alongside Patrick Wilson and Jessica Biel in the feature film A Kind Of Murder, landing a role as a drunk, belching punk girl in the Amazon pilot Budding Prospects, and playing the lead role of Ellie in her own comedy web series Represent.
