Christopher Farrell was born in Melbourne, Australia where he developed a strong passion for acting at an early age. After working as a full time emergency nurse, he went to work on the HBO series The Pacific, before moving to Europe in his early twenties. He studied improvisation in London before returning to Melbourne for work in both film and theatre. Christopher is best known for his recurring role as Dr Rob Carson on the Australian series Neighbours, his lead role as Ryan in independent feature film A Thousand Moments Later and guest roles on Australian television such as Halifax, Rostered On and Five Bedrooms. In 2017 Christopher performed on stage as Bruce Springsteen in the premier of award winning writer Gabriel Bergmoser's play Springsteen. He later reprised the role as Bruce Springsteen for the radio play that is available for download. He has been quoted as being extremely grateful to cinematographer Andrew Lesnie ACS ASC and Director Gary Conway for lessons learned during their time together on set in Melbourne. In 2020 and 2021 he assisted a number of productions with infection control procedures to assist with COVID-19 safe filming.
