Morgan Bradley, an acclaimed actress and director from New Zealand, began her artistic journey at Hagley Theatre Company in 2009. Her exceptional talent earned her a place at the prestigious Unitec Institute, where she pursued a Bachelor's degree in Performing and Screen Arts. At just 20 years old, Morgan became the host of "Kidzone with Morgan" on the network channel Kidzone24. Her captivating presence endeared her to Kiwi audiences for five successful seasons, with some episodes even written by Morgan herself, solidifying her status as a beloved household name.
Morgan's career continued to flourish with her portrayal of Leisha, an accountant-turned-misunderstood sex worker, in the star-studded TVNZ series "Dirty Laundry." Her versatility was further highlighted by her work in various productions, including the long-running "Power Rangers" and her lead role in the award-winning film "Titiro." On stage, she has captivated audiences with her performances in Edward Albee's "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf," Patrick Marber's "Closer," and Alan Janes's "The Buddy Holly Story." In 2015, she earned a nomination for 'Best Lead Actress' for her role as Mimi Marquez in the Tony Award-winning musical "RENT."
Morgan relocated to the United States, where she gained acclaim in various American miniseries. She appeared in the History Channel's "The Food That Built America," portraying the influential philanthropist and businesswoman Marjorie Merriweather Post. Her Hollywood debut came in 2020 with "The Aerialist" on Amazon Prime, where she played reporter Runa Wolff. Since then, Morgan has excelled in multiple TV thrillers and delivered a standout performance in the holiday film "The Recipe Files." She also made a notable guest appearance on the long-running soap opera "Days of Our Lives." In addition to her American successes, Morgan starred in the Korean feature "Boston 1947," directed by critically acclaimed Je-Kyu Kang, which was released in late 2023. Her upcoming film, "Good Bad Things," had it's theatrical release in AMC theaters in August 2024.
Building on her success as an actress, Morgan ventured into directing. After creating several short films, including co-writing and producing the fantasy/romance "A Rose in the Wall," she made her feature directorial debut in 2024 with "Technically Yours," distributed by Nicely Productions.
