- When I first started acting, I said I wouldn't shoot even a kissing scene. Then I broadened my vision and broke my "Türkan Soray Rules", I don't have that limit now. (Türkan Soray is a legendary Turkish movie star, who has principles of not acting in sexually explicit and nudity scenes.)
- Nothing is as it seems and you are constantly in a process of changing. Whatever happens to me, it transforms me and I think that I should actually accept the person I have become.
- We are actually born with a very pure essence. Our bodies are very clean. I think that as we grow up in life, we get dirty when faced with too much information. As we grow older, the concept of society comes into play, rules come into play and transform us into something else. Had it not been for that, we could be very fair and conscientious people in essence.
- Sometimes you have to wear a mask to protect your own world while living in society. But since my childhood, I am not affected by anything that is not sincere, I do not like it. I like clear and straight people. So I try to be true to myself and stay real and I surround myself with people that strive to do the same.
- What is life after all? A cycle of birth, life, and death. I'm on a journey, there are comings and goings, stops, potholes, and stairs that I go up in my life. And I wish my life to always be full and always transform. I start the day with "What will be the miracle of today". While walking down the road, I look at a tree as if I am looking at it for the first time, and when I realize that it is teaching me something, I get emotional.
- I do not accept any work involving violence, especially any project involving violence against women. I talk directly to the producer, too. When there is such a scene, I say, "I would prefer not to play this scene and please remove this scene". But to no avail. Still, those works are broadcast on television. If all of us understood our responsibilities in our own field, if I stay away from projects that normalize that situation as an actress, he as a director, and the other as a producer, things might begin to change. We don't need to call out the projects that beautify violence, we all know them. Unfortunately, these are the ones that see me fit to participate. But as Pınar, I want to tell stories of strong women. I do not want to be involved in the construction of a world that I am against, and I want to be able to say "I will not participate in this project" and stand against this issue as an actress.
