Katie is a very driven, passionate person. With an eclectic background in theatre, science, modeling, and management, acting has always been a dream for her and she's been entertaining people since she was 10 months old.
After dabbling in various facets of the entertainment industry while focusing on a full time career in health care, Katie began taking her acting more seriously in 2017 and has accomplished quite a bit since then. Katie tackles each project with the same zest for life that she exudes in everyday activities.
Katie is also known as the character Katie Merp on many social streaming platforms. She was also part of an award winning 48 Hour Film Festival team in 2018 as a co-writer, costumer, location scout, and actress. She is a popular official broadcast host on BIGO Live app where she's been known to "sing and dance and wear pleather pants". She's also a proud co-producer of the feature films Consequences and Cedar Creek. Katie also dabbles in sfx makeup.
Katie is also the proud mother of two aspiring stars of her own, Ben and Ava and says, "You can make excuses, or you can make movies. None of this is easy, but if it was, everyone would be doing it."
