Patterns (2023– )
3/10
Mediocre
22 June 2024
Patterns may not be the pinnacle of dramatic storytelling, but it's worth tuning in for a few standout reasons. The show is graced by the stunning Matthew Simpson, whose performance adds a layer of depth that the script lacks. Alongside him, the gorgeous Jack Armstrong brings a captivating presence that lights up the screen. And let's not forget the zaddy Ben Cohen, whose charisma and seasoned talent provide a magnetic pull that keeps viewers engaged.

However, beyond these exceptional performances, the show struggles. The younger cast members deliver subpar acting, which often feels forced and unconvincing. The storyline itself lacks coherence and fails to offer anything truly compelling or original. In essence, while "Patterns" flounders in its narrative and overall execution, the remarkable contributions of Simpson, Armstrong, and Cohen make it a worthwhile watch for those seeking a bit of eye candy and charm amidst the mediocrity.
