- TriviaThe birth of the puppies actually happened to the author Dodie Smith. Her dalmatians had 15 puppies, one was born lifeless and her husband revived it. However, they sold most of them, and kept only a small number.

- Quotes
Roger: Look, Anita! Puppies everywhere!
Anita: There must be a hundred of them!
Nanny: One, two, three and four. Seven, eight, nine.
Roger: Two more. Nine plus two is eleven.
Nanny: Thirty Six over here!
Roger: Thirty Six and eleven? That's forty seven.
Anita: Fourteen. Eighteen, Rog.
Roger: Uh, eh sixty five!
Nanny: Ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen!
Anita: Wait a minute, wait a minute. Six more.
Roger: Well, let's see, now. That's eighty four and fifteen plus two. A hundred and one!
Anita: A hundred and one? My, where did they all come from?
Roger: Oh ho, Pongo, you old rascal!
- Alternate versionsIn the original 1992 VHS release, the movie opens with the 1990 Walt Disney Pictures logo and it takes the place of the original Buena Vista logo, so, it is placed after the film's ending instead. It fades to these 2 bumpers, "Coming to Home Video" and "Coming on Videocassette This Summer" which these 2 bumpers have the text "Walt Disney" from the 1986 Walt Disney Home Video logo. In the 1999 home video release, the original Buena Vista logo was placed back at the beginning of the film and its fanfare was restored after it opens with the 1990 Walt Disney Pictures logo and it ends with the 1990 Walt Disney Pictures logo. In the 2008 Platinum Edition release, the film opens with the current 2006 Walt Disney Pictures logo and the original Buena Vista logo. In the 2015 Diamond Edition and 2019 Walt Disney Signature Collection releases, the current Disney opening logo isn't used at all, and the movie just opens with the original Buena Vista logo and the 2011 variant of the current 2006 Walt Disney Pictures logo only appears at the end of the film.
