Funny and fun Spanish comedy with a top-notch cast formed by the biggest hilarious actors from the sixties, such as José Luis López Vazquez , Alfredo Landa and Manolo Gómez Bur . Typical Spanish comedy with a choral casting in a rather slight holiday story about the tourist boom in the 60s Spanish period , also dealing with issues of prejudice-social complexes and other addictions . It is a passable and acceptable picture but lacks sparkle , mayhem and madness of the other Spanish comedies . Highlights , above all, a great plethora of notorious actors and with a so-so script by José Luis Dibildos ("Spanish Women In Paris", "The New Spaniards") and Alfonso Paso ("Those Who Play The Piano", "The Underdeveloped") who also plays an attractive role . Amor-a-la-espanola (1967) contains comedic and dramatic aspects and including pop song by Los Flames and drawings in the credits by Antonio Mingote . Nice performances from José Luis López Vázquez as an employee of the Iberia airline company , he gets a serious/comical role in his romance with Erika Wallner who steals the show as the charming , gorgeous Swedish tourist Ingrid, while Alfonso Paso playing an alcoholic character, and Alfredo Landa tries to wriggle out of his mature admirers as a gigolo waiter , adding other fine players as Manolo Gómez Bur , Elena María Tejeiro , Margot Cottens , Pastor Serrador , Laura Valenzuela , Sara Guasch , Fernando Nogueras , José Luis Coll and brief appearance by Alvaro de Luna.
