There is ambiguity on whether the characters of Stela and Fermín are the same ones from
Las eróticas vacaciones de Stela (1978). They are played by the same actors (
Azucena Hernández and
Fernando Martín, respectively) and there are vague references to their past stories that seem to fit the former movie, such as Fermín being an ex-seminarian and Stela having lost her virginity during a holiday, but at the same time their personalities and behavior are vastly different, and even contradictory with the 1978 film.
Carla Celis is also in both movies, but playing a clearly different character in each, and they also share the same writer,
Eligio Herrero, executive producer,
Ángel Huete, and several crew members, but otherwise both stories are totally unrelated.
