In town/city night-time scenes e.g. about 1 hour in, vehicles are shown driving on dipped headlights. It was usual in the UK in the 1950's, through the 1960's, and even into the 1970's, to drive on sidelights only in built-up areas illuminated by streetlights. It is still, in fact, legal to do so.
