- Loomis: Michael, it will destroy you, too. One day, Michael, this rage which drives you... You think if you kill them all it will go away. It won't. You have to fight it in the place where it's strongest.
- [Myers can be faintly seen in the woods]
- Loomis: Where it all began! If you want to get rid of this rage, Michael, go home. Go home! Go to your house, I shall be there waiting for you. You'll find her waiting for you.
- Loomis: She was shaking; her whole body was shaking.
- Meeker: Every time a little girl twitches I'm supposed to call out the national guard...
- Loomis: How many people did he kill last year? Have you forgotten? Your own daughter!
- Meeker: [grabs Loomis] I don't...
- Loomis: [cuts him off] No, of course you don't forget. How could you? You never looked into his face, did you? You never saw his eyes. You never saw that- that nothing, no expression, blank. My memory goes back twelve years to the night I offered... I'm gonna show you- show you something. Look.
- [lifts up his burned hand]
- Loomis: Look at this, look at that. I prayed that he would burn in Hell, but in my heart I knew that Hell would not have him.
- Rachel: [takes Jamie's hands] I'll be back in two days, okay?
- [Jamie nods]
- Rachel: Mom and Dad send their love.
- [they hug; all of the sudden the window shatters. Tina comes back in, as Loomis picks up a brick with a note taped to it. "The evil child must die!" it reads; cut to Rachel and Loomis outside]
- Rachel: How could they? When are they going to realize that she is not him? She's just a child.
- Loomis: They know that Michael Myers is her uncle and that she attacked her foster mother. That's why they fear her, especially on Halloween.
- Rachel: I never should have let my parents talk me into leaving. I don't know what I was thinking.
- Loomis: You're afraid.
- Rachel: I am not.
- Loomis: You're afraid the whole thing might start to happen again. There's nothing wrong with being afraid.
- Rachel: And I suppose there's nothing wrong with just leaving my little foster sister here alone?
- Loomis: You can telephone her from the cabin. She'll be properly looked after.
- Jamie: [struggling] Stooorrre.
- Billy: Store.
- Loomis: Store? What kind of store? What do they sell there?
- Jamie: [struggles] All nighter.
- Billy: All nighter.
- Loomis: What do they sell?
- Jamie: [trying] Big...
- Billy: Big.
- Jamie: Woman.
- Billy: Woman.
- Loomis: A big woman, who works in the store?
- Jamie: [shaking head] No!
- Loomis: What, Jamie, what?
- [she starts crying]
- Jamie: Cookie Woman.
- Billy: Cookie Woman.
- Loomis: Cookie Woman?
- Cop at Pageant: [into walkie talkie] Dale's Gas Station, 5th in Main.
- Loomis: Why don't you stay the night?
- Tina: Oh, sorry, I've got to run.
- Loomis: Tina, please.
- Tina: Stay away, okay? You know you're really creepy, filling that little girl with all that bogeyman crap.
- Loomis: I believe that you're in danger. Jamie believes it too.
- Tina: Jamie is a nine-year-old girl.
- Loomis: Be sensible.
- Tina: [laughs] I'm never sensible if I can help it.
- [walks away]
- [standing over Jamie as she lays waiting in the coffin, Michael Myers raises his knife]
- Jamie: Uncle?
- [pause]
- Jamie: Boogeyman?
- [Myers lowers his blade and looks down at his niece, breathing heavily; she places her right index and middle fingers below her eye]
- Jamie: Let me see.
- [Myers slowly removes his mask and shows himself to Jaime for the first time]
- Jamie: You're just like me.
- [a tear descends from Myers's eye]
- Jamie: Let me.
- Rachel: Well, what about Max?
- Deputy Nick: A doby, right?
- [Max comes running down the sidewalk]
- Rachel: This is not happening to me! Max! Max, what have you done? I'm so embarrassed.
- Deputy Nick: That's what we're here for.
- Deputy Tom: Rescue cats.
- Deputy Nick: Find dogs.
- Deputy Tom: That's our job.
- Deputy Nick: And we love it.
- Loomis: You've got to help me, Jamie. You've got to help me find him. We both know he's alive. But you know where he is! Why? Why are you protecting him? What about your stepmother, Jamie? You love her, don't you? He made you stab her. You can't hide from him. He'll always get to you. Jamie, Jamie, you listen. Today in the cemetery somebody dug up a coffin. It was the coffin of a nine-year-old girl. What do you think he is going to do with that? Huh? You're nine years old, are you, Jamie?
- Nurse Patsey: Dr. Loomis! Leave the little girl alone.
- Loomis: Tears won't get you anywhere. Help me to find him. We'll find him together! There's a reason why he has this power over you. Did you ever wonder what it is?
- Tina: Just great the old silent treatment, huh, Mike? What I do wrong this time? Huh? Is it because I wanna see Jamie? Nothing Mike, that's what I get. Nothing. Stop here. I want a pack of cigarettes.
- [car speeds up past the store]
- Tina: I said stop the goddamn car. I wanna pack of cigarettes.
- [slams breaks]
- Tina: Come on. Well?
- [car backs up]
- Tina: Great. Psycho boyfriend.
- Jamie: Don't go.
- Tina: I have to.
- Jamie: Why?
- Tina: Because... You might not understand but when you're older there are people you're gonna meet who make you feel like connected. Like your heart is made of neon and when you find them you have to be with them.
- Jamie: But he was with you.
- Tina: Who?
- Jamie: The boogeyman.
- Tina: Oh yeah, that's one way of describing him.
- [kisses her, and gets up]
- Jamie: Tina, no!
- Tina: Honey, I will come back later tonight and I will sleep with you right here.
- Jamie: Tina!
- Tina: I'll be back. I love you.
- Jamie: [screaming and crying] Tina!
- Tina: Take me, but spare my friend... She's a virgin.
- Spitz: [dressed as Michael Myers] Got her phone number?
- [they all laugh]
- Deputy Nick: You think that's funny?
- Spitz: [taking off mask] Hey, hey, no, man. No, hey, just a little Halloween prank. Okay?
- Deputy Tom: Definitely not funny. Somebody could even be dead right now.
- Deputy Nick: Fortunately, we're lousy cops.
- Rachel: [on the phone] Bye, sweetie. I love you. You be a good girl. Bye.
- Loomis: [hangs the phone up] So, she was perfectly all right. Come on, Billy, I think Jamie needs to get some rest.
- Billy: Jamie, are you okay?
- [tries to touch her, but she slaps him away]
- Loomis: Come on.
- [Billy leaves, Loomis stays and closes the door; he gets a pen and paper]
- Loomis: You sense something, don't you? Tell me. Tell me what you know.
- [she is crying and trying to speak]
- Loomis: Here. Write, write, write. Write what you know! Jamie, please. Please.
- Dr. Hart: Jamie, Jamie, Jamie.
- [Jamie is struggling to breathe; they start to place something in her throat]
- Loomis: No! No!
- Dr. Hart: What are you doing?
- Loomis: Leave her.
- Dr. Hart: This girl is dying; I have to open her trachea, for God's sake.
- Loomis: She will stabilize.
- Dr. Hart: She's dying.
- Loomis: No.
- [Jamie becomes calm and can breathe again]
- Loomis: Do you see?
- Dr. Hart: I see you want this girl dead.
- Loomis: She has something to tell us.
