General Hospital (Gh) spoilers and rumors tease Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) may not really be what he claims. Questions arise as to what he’s up to, under the guise of a law and order justice seeker!
General Hospital Spoilers – One Big Question-How’d He Go From Pentonville Prisoner To Head Of The Local Wsb Office?
There’s one big question that hasn’t been answered, and that’s how he suddenly went from Pentonville prisoner to head of the local Port Charles Wsb office!
All that is known for sure is that the Pikeman organization has ceased to exist-did Brennan cut a deal of some kind, causing some Pikeman heads to roll?
It seems like there were some behind the scenes maneuvers that would have had to be accomplished to exonerate Brennan concerning his Pikeman activity.
It’s doubtful he could still be a Wsb agent had he not...

If Kylie Minogue’s Tension generated its, well, tension from its fluctuations between propulsive electro-pop and breezy synth-pop, the album’s sequel, Tension II, fully commits to the former. “Padam Padam” is a direct influence here, with the slinky, undulating synths and robotic vocal hooks of tracks like “Kiss Bang Bang” and “Hello,” an outtake from the original sessions, clearly indebted to that sleeper hit from Tension.
The new album, which could have easily been called More Tension, is Minogue’s most shamelessly ingratiating collection of dance-pop songs since 2010’s Aphrodite—maybe even 2001’s Fever. The Aussie pop singer has, admirably, never before tried to replicate that album’s global smash, “Can’t Get You Out of My Head,” but the frothy “Diamonds,” with its unrelenting bassline and earworm vocable, makes a valiant attempt. Elsewhere, the rollicking bass and string sample of “Taboo” nods to another infectious club anthem from the...

Kylie Minogue isn’t quite done with her Tension era. The musician has announced the new album, Tension, set for release on Oct. 18 as a companion to last year’s full-length Tension. The second chapter will officially kick off on Sept. 27 with the release of the album’s proper lead single, fittingly titled “Lights Camera Action.”
“The Tension era has been so special to me … I can’t possibly let it be over just yet,” Minogue wrote in a statement. “Welcome to ‘Tension II’.” The 13-track album will include the...

This year marked the 40th anniversary of the first MTV Video Music Awards, a milestone that’s somewhat blunted by the realization that this isn’t your mother’s VMAs. The network handed over the reins to viewers beginning in 2006, letting them pick the winners in all of the main categories. And in recent years, the VMAs have moved even further away from the “video” designation of its name, doling out moonmen for Song of the Year and Song of the Summer.
One thing that hasn’t changed about the VMAs, however, is the opportunity for show-stopping performances, something MTV acknowledged this year with a new Most Iconic Performance category. The winner in that race, Katy Perry, was also bestowed with the semi-annual Video Vanguard award. From Perry flying through the air like a, uh, firework to Madonna rolling around in a wedding dress at the inaugural VMAs in 1984, we...

Exclusive: STX Entertainment and Citizen Skull Productions are behind new creature feature, Bigfoot.
In this latest addition to the bigfoot myth, a beast terrorizes a modern housing development in a small mountain town. The attacks lead to the town’s new sheriff fighting for her daughter’s life.
Pic heralds from director John Asher (Diamonds) and first-time screenwriter Jordan Reid.
The film is slated to shoot this fall in the remote Crystal Mountains of Washington State. Casting is in process.
Asher’s previous directing credits include the indie features A Love Like This, A Boy Called Po, and Miramax’s Diamonds, as well as the TV series One Tree Hill.
Bigfoot marks the filmmaker’s first venture into the horror landscape, a genre he has a family connection to given that his grandfather E.M. Asher was an associate producer on iconic monster movies Dracula (1931) and Frankenstein (1931).

Of all the pop-culture questions we thought we’d be asking this summer, “What was Katy Perry thinking?” probably wasn’t high on anyone’s list. But here we are with “Woman’s World,” a fairly generic pop banger about female empowerment. Fine idea, but rarely has someone so misread the room. Crammed with cartoonish, fleshy pop-pinup imagery, the video was in line with Perry’s earlier, Day-Glo clips. But this one was widely savaged for being heavy-handed, empty of meaning, stereotypically sexualized, or out of step with the way women...

Britney Spears‘ worst songs are sometimes inexplicable. For example, she once contributed a track to a Smurfs movie that makes no sense. Her attempt to work with fellow pop star Rihanna was also regrettable.
5. ‘S&m’
In 2011, Spears’ music was hotter than it’d been in a long time, thanks to her album Femme Fatale, which includes her hits “Hold It Against Me,” “Till the World Ends,” “I Wanna Go,” and “Criminal.” Meanwhile, Rihanna was having a career-high point as well, thanks to the popularity of her dance record Loud.
A collaboration between these two titans of pop seemed like a surefire hit and it was. Spears appeared on a remix of “S&m” that topped the Billboard Hot 100 for a single week. Sadly, Spears’ vocal performance is indescribably awful.

Over a dozen people came to support former President Donald Trump in court on Monday, including Chuck Zito, former leader of the Hells Angels motorcycle gang. In the mid-1970s, Zito formed his motorcycle gang, the New Rochelle Motorcycle Club, before merging with the Ching-a-Ling Nomads.
Later, Zito was voted in as a member of the Hells Angels chapter in New York City in 1979 after meeting Sandy Alexander, chapter president. After numerous legal issues during his time with the Hells Angels, Zito left in 2004 to pursue a career in Hollywood. Some of Zito’s notable acting roles include Chucky “The Enforcer” Pancamo in the HBO prison drama Oz and Frankie “Diamonds” in Sons of Anarchy. He also worked as an amateur boxer and celebrity security guard.

The idea of artists needing a “career reboot” often has as much to do with the petulant impatience of content-saturated fans than the actual situation of the artist in question. But in the case of Sia, the urgency of a course correction is hard to deny. Sia broke out from the ranks of top-level songwriters-for-hire in 2014 with the self-emptying party-kamikaze ginormity of “Chandelier.” Her 2017 album This is Acting was a concept record of sorts that repurposed songs she’d originally written with singers like Adele and Rihanna in mind, of...

The Monday, April 22 live episode of “American Idol” Season 22 proved to be the end of the road for two fan-fave singers: Jayna Elise and Roman Collins. They were the only artists in the Top 12 that failed to earn enough votes from viewers to make it into next week’s all-important Top 10. Host Ryan Seacrest delivered the unfortunate news in front of judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie. The guest mentor for “Billboard #1 Hits” night was Meghan Trainor.
Throughout the competition, Jayna sang tunes like “The Climb” (Auditions round), “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now” (Showstopper round), “Confident” (Top 24 round), “My All”, “All I Wanted”, “I Have Nothing” (Top 14 round) and “Diamonds” (Top 12 round). The 22-year-old performer from Washington, D.C. actually began her journey last year on “Idol,” but was eliminated prior to the Season 21 live shows. The good news is that she made it much further this time around.

Rihanna‘s songs generally aren’t violent, one of her ballads was once called “Murderer.” Even more surprising than that, the song was inspired by the sound of rock band Evanescence. It’s pretty clear which Evanescence song inspired the “We Found Love” singer.
Rihanna’s song was written by 2 important artists
Stargate is a songwriting duo composed of Mikkel S. Eriksen and Tor E. Hermansen. They have produced numerous hit songs for Rihanna. Primarily, they write dance songs and ballads. During a 2010 interview with Sound on Sound, Eriksen recalled the writing of “Unfaithful.”
“Tor and I created the original track, which was dark and moody, taking our inspiration from the rock band Evanescence,” he recalled. “The song was originally called ‘Murderer.’ The first thing that we had was the piano melody and we created the whole structure of the song with just the piano, and then added the percussion and the strings.

So many Beyoncé songs have changed the world — and one in particular changed Rihanna’s world. When the “Sos” singer was still part of a girl group, she auditioned for a producer by singing a song by Queen B. The producer in question went on to write two of Rihanna’s biggest early hits.
It’s not clear which Beyoncé song Rihanna sang
During a 2020 interview with Vulture, producer Evan Rodgers recalled watching the “Only Girl (In the World)” singer audition for him while she was still part of a girl group. “My wife’s goddaughter asked if the girl group could come by our villa,” he said. “Rihanna was the last one to show up, she was late.
“She drew all the attention and I was almost thinking maybe she’s just in the group because she’s so striking [to look at],” he added. “Sometimes it works that way. I had...

Rihanna took the stage for her full-length concert in eight years at, of all places, a wedding ceremony in Jamnagar, India.
The pop singer was reportedly paid at least $6 million to play a private gig celebrating the nuptials of Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Indian billionaire industrialist Mukesh Ambani, and his bride-to-be, Radhika Merchant.
According to Setlist.fm, Rihanna’s setlist consisted of 19 songs and included performances of “Bitch Better Have My Money,” “Wild Thoughts,” “Rude Boy,” Work,” “We Found Love,” “Umbrella,” Stay,” and “Diamonds.” Watch fan-captured footage below.
While Rihanna headlined the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show and also performed at last year’s Academy Awards, her appearance at Anant and Radhika’s wedding marked her first full-length concert since November 2016.
Ambani previously spent over $100 million for Anant’s sister Isha’s wedding in 2018, which included a private performance from Beyoncé.

The Rolling Stones have released the music video for the song “Mess It Up,” from their latest album, Hackney Diamonds. Watch it below.
Starring actor Nicholas Hoult, the video arrived on Tuesday, December 19th — just a few weeks after the release of Hackney Diamonds itself.
First released as the seventh track on Hackney Diamonds, “Mess It Up” sees the Stones blend their classic, blues-rock style with a disco-esque, modern pop approach. The driving backbeat and distorted guitar chops on the verses give oomph to Mick Jagger’s snarling vocals, as the melodic sparkle of the catchy, hook-led chorus transforms the track into a Stones-ified “pop bop.”
“Mess It Up” is the second track from Hackney Diamonds to receive music video treatment. In September, The Rolling Stones shared the video for the single “Angry” starring Sydney Sweeney (which Damon Albarn called “horrible” and “objectifying” of Sweeney).

Artists from different genres and eras can create similar songs. Rihanna‘s “Diamonds” has some interesting similarities to a song from The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. Both tracks have the same central theme, even if that isn’t obvious at first.
Rihanna’s ‘Diamonds’ was co-written by a pop star and a pair of important producers
Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen are a pair of musical producers collectively known as Stargate. Stargate produced big singles like Beyoncé’s “Irreplaceable,” Selena Gomez’s “Come & Get It,” and Katy Perry’s “Firework.” They’ve also worked on several Rihanna hits, including “Diamonds,” which they co-wrote with pop star Sia. During a 2018 interview with Entertainment Weekly, Hermansen said they wanted to write something different, and Sia spontaneously came up with a lyric about “diamonds in the sky.”
There is one other pop hit with similar lyrics:...

Some fans think that Drake might be throwing shade at Rihanna on his new album For All The Dogs.
The LP arrived on Friday (October 6), and fans discovered what appear to be references to his time with the “Diamonds” diva in the song “Fear of Heights.”
If you forgot, Drake and Rihanna have collaborated multiple times over the years and were romantically linked for a time in 2016. That year, he professed his love to her for the world to see while onstage at the MTV Video Music Awards.
They have since gone their separate ways, and in 2018 Rihanna said that they were no longer friends. Drake seemingly referenced her in an interview a year later.
Now, it looks like he might be looking back on their time together in his lyrics. One verse in particular features what might be a few shady digs at the pop icon.

I was showing someone in the back my before-and-afters right before I came on. People go, ‘You look nice.’ I’m like, ‘Dr. Ben Talei, face lift’ for like anything you could ever want. I love him, I can’t say enough good about him.”

“Portrait of a Lady on Fire” was Céline Sciamma’s big breakout moment, but the French director was clearly a major talent in the making from the very start of her career.
In 2007, the then 29-year-old filmmaker premiered her first feature at Cannes Film Festival, after writing the movie’s script during her final year at the prestigious film school La Fémis. The story of three teen girls awakening to their sexualities during a single summer, “Water Lillies” featured Sciamma’s future romantic partner and collaborator Adèle Haenel, and established the type of female-focused and queer stories she would spend her entire career bringing to the screen.
Following the positive reception of “Water Lillies,” Sciamma chased it with 2011’s “Tomboy,” a sharply observed coming-of-age about a 10-year-old exploring their gender identity. 2014’s “Girlhood,” about four Black teen girls living in Paris, brought Sciamma further attention, thanks to a much talked...

Music video director François Rousselet had to fake nearly 40 billboards on the Sunset Strip to create the Rolling Stones’ new clip for “Angry,” the first single off their upcoming Hackney Diamonds album.
Inspired by photographer Robert Landau’s 2016 book Rock ‘n’ Roll Billboards of the Sunset Strip — which documented the proliferation of ads for rock bands in West Hollywood between the Sixties and Eighties — Rousselet sought to pay homage to the heyday of the rock billboard for the clip. He culled footage from the Stones’ archives and digitally replaced ads...

Pop sensation Rihanna and rapper Asap Rocky unveiled the unique name of their second child, a month after the singer gave birth. The 35-year-old “Diamonds” hitmaker and the 34-year-old rapper have chosen to name their son: Riot Rose Mayers.
The name “Riot” appears to be a namesake for Asap Rocky’s recent song, “Riot,” released earlier this year, featuring Pharrell Williams.
The birth certificate confirms that Riot was born on August 1, 2023, at Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, marking a joyous moment for the couple at 7:41 a.m.
Rihanna and Asap Rocky have continued their tradition of selecting names starting with the letter ‘R,’ as they did with their first son, born in May 2022, whom they named RZA Athelston Mayers.
The significance of their first son’s name, “RZA,” pays homage to the legendary producer and rapper RZA, known for leading the Wu-Tang Clan, with his real name being Robert Fitzgerald Diggs.
