Actor Konstantin Zheldin plays a nervous taxi driver who gives Danila a lift. Danila asks to stop "at that building." To which the taxi driver angrily replies: "This is the Taganka Theater!" The artist Zheldin himself had been the artist of the Taganka Theater from 1966 to 2000.
The director of the film, Balobanov, considered the voice of actor Sukhorukov (Viktor Bagrov) not very impressive, and he was dubbed by actor Alexey Poluyan. Later, Sukhorukov and Poluyan starred together in the film "Operation Happy New Year" directed by Rogozhkin.
The film is a sequel to the 1997 Brother by the same director.
