Chris Rock and David Hyde Pierce did not return to reprise their roles as Ozzy and Drix.
The show takes place after the movie.
Presumably due to budgetary reasons, several scenes of animation from the original film, Osmosis Jones (2001), were recycled in multiple episodes.
