Bobby tries to steal a pair of sneakers in order to fit in with the cool kids at school, but he is caught by the store manager.

As Robert, Neesee and Bobby excitedly prepare for their first Christmas together, they are surprised by Neesee's estranged brother, Vonte, who is on parole from jail.

After Bobby calls 911 as a prank, Robert takes him to a police station to teach him a lesson.

When Robert finds out that Neesee is planning to visit a sperm bank in order to become pregnant, he questions her reasoning for going through with the procedure.

When Robert must go to New York on Christmas Eve for an interview, a snowstorm derails him and jeopardizes his chances of spending the holiday with Bobby and Tia.

When Robert starts to get attention as a correspondent on "Entertainment Tonight" his rising celebrity status and swelling ego begin to rub everyone the wrong way. Meanwhile, Neesee starts to question her relationship with Rusty when she realizes her champagne tastes may be too much for him to handle.

Dirk's therapist girlfriend observes that Robert and Neesee act as if they're still in love the exspouses have awkward experiences--that make them wonder if she's right.

Bobby returns home from his first day at a new school and says he wants to be white. Neesee calls Congresswoman Maxine Waters to complain about racism in the school.

Robert gets a job as a correspondent for "Entertainment Tonight" and insists Dirk be a producer. Neesee and Rusty are dating, but Rusty doesn't want to tell his sister.

After finally reconciling with Robert, Tia is floored when a guilt-ridden Robert confesses that he almost shared a kiss with Neesee, leaving Tia irritated, so when Robert tries to be all lovey-dovey with her, she resists and they find themselves working out their issues at Dirk and Jonelle's wedding. Later, Neesee sees a therapist to work out her issues with men and discovers that her non-existent relationship with her father may be the root of her problems.
