10. Birdemic: Shock and Terror (2010) — 1.7 IMDb Score
Don’t know about you, but we can’t shake off the feeling that Birdemic was created solely because someone drunkenly decided that the word was a good pun. The movie follows two brave heroes trying to save their town from murderous mutated birds, so yeah… Worse yet, there are also Birdemic 2 & 3 with even lower ratings.
9. Pledge This! (2006) — 1.7 IMDb Score
An explicit campus comedy following a beautiful and scheming sorority president as she tries to profit from an FHM sorority competition. Paris Hilton as a lead star. What could go wrong? Admittedly, everything. From terrible toilet humor to including gross and provocative scenes for the sake of it, Pledge This! is awful from start to finish.

A24 has released the first official look at Sean Baker’s “Red Rocket” ahead of the film’s world premiere next month in competition at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival. “Red Rocket” is Baker’s first Palme d’Or contender, although he’s no stranger to Cannes as his last directorial effort, “The Florida Project,” was one of the most acclaimed breakouts in the Directors’ Fortnight sidebar of the 2017 festival. Baker’s previous efforts screened at festivals such as Sundance (“Tangerine”), SXSW (“Starlet”), and more.
While A24 has not released an official synopsis for “Red Rocket,” here’s how Deadline described the movie when it was first announced last year: “‘Red Rocket’ is a darkly comedic film about Mikey Saber, a 39-year old ‘suitcase pimp.’ That is the kind of pimp who lives off of women in the adult film industry. Finding himself down and out in Los Angeles, Mikey decides...

She may be busy dealing with her cocaine possession charges, but that’s not all Paris Hilton is worried about.
The “Simple Life” babe was fined $160,000 by Us District Judge Federico Moreno for breach of contract with Worldwide Entertainment Group.
The plaintiffs were actually suing Hilton for $1 million for failing to do promotional duties as outlined in her contract for the movie “Pledge This!”
And while Paris isn’t being ordered to pay the full amount being sought, it’s still $160,000, and that’s not chump change.

Paris Hilton may owe investors in her 2006 movie "Pledge This!" about $160,000 for failing to do enough promotion, a judge ruled Thursday.
The amount isn't finalized yet though, the Associated Press reported. The investors had asked for $8.3 million.
U.S. District Judge Federico Moreno in Miami ruled that the socialite didn't live up to her contract when turning down interviews with publications in Russia and the U.K.
He preliminarily valued the missed press exposure at $160,000. However, the judge also requested more information about Hilton's contract before finalizing the amount.
Her latest legal troubles come after Hilton's recent arrest on cocaine possession charges.

Hilton Facing Pledge This! Pay-out
Paris Hilton's personal problems are mounting - she's facing a massive pay-out to the investors of her 2006 film flop Pledge This! after a judge ruled she failed to properly promote the movie.
Bosses at Worldwide Entertainment Group sued Hilton and her company, Paris Hilton Entertainment, for breach of contract in 2008, claiming the socialite/actress failed to fulfil her promotional duties as the star of the movie - and demanded she pay back $1 million (£666,600).
In a Miami, Florida court on Thursday, U.S. District Judge Federico Moreno ruled the 29 year old didn't live up to her contract by refusing interviews with publications in Russia and the United Kingdom.
He declared Hilton could be liable for a payout after valuing the lost promotional opportunities at around $160,000 (£107,000), according to the Associated Press.
It's the latest legal hassle for Hilton, who is facing up to four years in prison after she was charged with possession of a controlled substance following her arrest in Las Vegas on Friday night.

Hilton Wins First Round Of Pledge This Battle
The producers of Paris Hilton's 2006 film flop Pledge This have been given until 26 August to prove the socialite owes them cash.
The bosses of Worldwide Entertainment Group sued Hilton and her company, Paris Hilton Entertainment, for breach of contract, claiming she failed to properly promote the film.
And they wanted Hilton to pay back the $1 million (£666,600) she was paid.
During a two-day trial in Miami, Florida, Hilton testified she did her best to promote the movie, and U.S. District Judge Federico Moreno agreed, stating the movie was "hardly destined for critical acclaim".
He added, "Any causal connection between Ms. Hilton's alleged breaches and the financial ruin of the film are wholly speculative."
A receiver representing the producers have been given until 26 August to submit arguments that Hilton should pay back parts of her $1 million fee.

Miami -- Paris Hilton will not have to pay $8.3 million in damages claimed by the receiver for a defunct entertainment firm who said she failed to promote a movie flop called "Pledge This!"
But the decision by U.S. District Judge Federico Moreno on Monday left open the possibility the receiver might be able to claw back part of a $1 million fee paid to Hilton for the 2006 National Lampoon movie.
Michael Goldberg, a court-appointed receiver for Worldwide Entertainment Group, sued Hilton and her company, Paris Hilton Entertainment, for breach of contract, alleging she failed to properly promote the film, in which she played the president of a sorority at fictional South Beach University.
Goldberg sought to recoup the $8.3 million cost of producing the movie, including Hilton's $1 million fee.

Hilton To Testify In Breach Of Contract Suit
Socialite Paris Hilton will take the stand in a Miami, Florida court on Friday to testify against allegations she failed to adequately promote her 2006 movie flop Pledge This!.
The hotel heiress is being sued for breach of contract by bosses at Worldwide Entertainment Group Inc., who claim she neglected to honour promotion and publicity agreements for the film, insisting she owes investors a massive $8.3 million (£5.5 million).
The movie executives claim Hilton was paid $1 million (£666,670) for her acting services and for "reasonable promotion and publicity" for the film, which featured the socialite/actress as the president of an exclusive sorority.
A judge rejected a motion by Hilton's legal team to dismiss the lawsuit in May and the trial began on Thursday.
Hilton, who maintains she did her best to promote the picture, is expected in court on Friday.
Pledge This! failed to set the box office alight upon its release, garnering just $2.9 million (£1.93 million) worldwide.

Richie's Film Moved To Avoid Box Office Battle with Hilton
Producers of Nicole Richie's film debut Kids In America have moved the release date forward two weeks early, so the socialite won't have to compete with her former friend Paris Hilton in the box office. Earlier this month, movie-maker Andrew Shaifer, who produced and wrote Kids In America, accused the team behind Hilton's Pledge This! of purposefully synchronizing the release date of November 4 to generate publicity. The Simple Life reality TV co-stars mysteriously fell out in January and have refused to divulge the reason behind their rift, with Hilton saying, "All I will say is that Nicole knows what she did and that's all I am ever going to say about it." In reflection, Shaifer has decided to release Richie's debut on October 21. He tells gossip site PageSix.com, "My concern now is that Paris is going to continue to play follow the leader. She will try to horn in on Nicole's PR again."...

Hilton and Richie Set for Box Office Battle
The rivalry between Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie is set to soar to new heights, following news the former pals' movies will be released on the same day. The feuding beauties, who broke off their long-term friendship earlier this year, have both enjoyed increased celebrity status with their hit reality show The Simple Life. And now House Of Wax star Hilton has reportedly requested a November 4 release date for her upcoming comedy National Lampoon's Pledge This to clash with Richie's Kids In America. According to America's Star magazine, Kids in America producer Andrew Shaifer, who picked the release date for his film four months ago, believes Hilton deliberately selected the date as a publicity stunt. He is reported as saying, "After seeing House of Wax we obviously got the better actress!"...

Richie and Hilton to Battle at the Box Office
Aspiring actresses and feuding friends Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are set to do battle at the box office in November - they both star in films which will be released on the same day. Movie-maker Andrew Shaifer, who produced and wrote Richie's debut film Kids in America, has accused the team behind Hilton's Pledge This! of purposefully synchronizing the release date clash to generate publicity. Shaifer, who arranged his film's release date in April, says, "It was just announced that Paris's movie will open the same day. It is obvious something is going on. My feeling is this was done on purpose." Despite his anger over the date clash, Shaifer tells gossip website PageSix.com he is confident in Richie's big screen abilities after seeing Hilton's acting attempt in horror remake House of Wax earlier this year . He boasts, "Either way, I am glad we have Nicole in our movie. After seeing House of Wax, we obviously got the better actress. I want to put Nicole in another movie. I have specifically written a role with her in mind - she is that talented." However, Hilton's representative responds, "Andrew must be mistaken. There is no official release date yet."...
