- TriviaAccording to an interview Wes Bentley gave to the New York Times in 2010, this movie was made during the middle of his decade-long, extremely serious addiction to cocaine and heroin. Bentley admitted in that interview that he only accepted the few movie roles he had during that time so that he would have money to buy drugs.
- GoofsAngela would not be knocked out from the stun gun. Stun guns do not cause unconsciousness. However, pain, shock and fear can result within loss of consciousness and when combined with the effects of such a device may certainly result within a physical shutdown as demonstrated by Angela.

Thomas (Wes Bentley) is a lonely parking garage attendant. He's also in love with Angela (Rachel Nichols), who works in the office tower above him. In another movie, this would lead to a beautiful relationship. Fortunately, in P2, Thomas is a maniac with unnatural ideas in his head.
It's Christmas time and Thomas has gathered up the courage to make his move. Angela's been working late and is expected at the family Christmas party. It looks like she'll be a no-show this year.
P2 is a tense thriller that makes great use of its limited location by keeping things moving. Some innovative ideas help to heighten the suspense, including an elevator scene that's novel and terrifying. There's also good interaction between Thomas, whose vacillating mental states are jarring, and Angela, who's no dummy. She uses her head instead of just running around screaming. It all becomes a true battle for survival.
Highly recommended for those in need of a good jolt or two...
