While filming at London's Park Lane Hotel, the production team noticed red double-decker buses passing frequently. That's common in London, but not New York, where the scene is set. About 30 extras were pulled outside the hotel and used to block the buses.
The company filmed at Dunvegan Castle, on the Isle of Skye, for five days. Dunvegan Castle is said to be the oldest inhabited castle in northern Scotland. It has been occupied continuously by MacLeod chiefs for over seven centuries, and remains the MacLeod ancestral home. Skye's permanent population is around 12,000, and the film production rolled in with a cast of 25, a crew of 250, and 300 extras.
