Years before the wave of excellently written and casted TV shows spill over to Europe via HBO, Netflix and Amazon, there were already high-quality series to watch.

Especially "KDD - Kriminaldauerdienst" stands out here. "KDD" is stirring, exciting, dramaturgically great and well played. Actors, director, screenplay - everything fits together and leads to a series that was rightly showered with awards.
