Here's a brief list of some interesting and/or noteworthy projects that were recently added to IMDbPro's database of development titles:
My Monster – Hot off the heels of his directorial debut, Sympathy For Delicious, actor-director-Hulkster Mark Ruffalo has his pick of projects. Of the many he’s reportedly considering (Low Down, The Normal Heart, Red Light Winter), he plans to co-write and direct his own next, a drama about a recovering heroin addict raising his six-year-old son.
Unforgiving World – Nicole Holofcener teams up with American Teen's Nanette Burstein to develop Focus Features’ adaptation of the 2008 French comedy Notre Univers Impitoyable, which centers on a professional couple working at the same company who end up competing for the same job.
Nobody Walks – Tiny Furniture’s Lena Dunham has nabbed a trio of hot, young up-and-comers to headline her next film. John Krasinski, Rosemarie DeWitt and Olivia Thirlby star in this indie drama about a family whose lives are turned upside-down when they invite a young, charismatic artist into their home.
Amnesty – Max Landis sold this pitch to Universal Pictures with Ron Howard and Brian Grazer’s Imagine Entertainment on board to produce. Plot details weren’t disclosed, but Deadline describes it as a mash-up of the Jason Bourne books and Tolkien.
