This was the second time the band Rocket performed at this venue.

Some of the most famous, influential and legendary musicians in history have performed at The Whisky since the 1960's, including The Doors, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Eric Clapton, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Janice Joplin and many others. The venue is one of the first to welcome these types of artists when it opened and continues to bring popular Rock bands to the Sunset Strip.

The Whisky has remodeled the interior and exterior of the venue and the stage area has been moved over 5 times.
