Justin Hartley's comeback to the small screen has landed an updated title.
CBS revealed this week that the new drama series will now be known as Tracker.
When the show was first announced and ordered, it was called The Never Game.
While a premiere date has not been set, CBS has announced that Tracker will debut during the 2023-24 season.
We don't know whether that will be a fall or midseason bow, but CBS will promote Tracker to try and lure the This Is Us audience over to the new show.
Us TV Fanatics will follow Hartley anywhere, and the concept for his new show sounds pretty good.
Tracker features Hartley as lone-wolf survivalist Colter Shaw, who roams the country as a "reward seeker," using his expert tracking skills to help private citizens and law enforcement solve all manner of mysteries while contending with his own fractured family.

New Delhi, Jan 8 (Ians) The global shipments of used smartphones, both officially refurbished and used, are expected to reach 351.6 million units registering $65 billion in market value in 2024, with a compound annual growth rate (Cagr) of 11.2 per cent from 2019 to 2024, an Idc report said on Friday.
For 2020, the used smartphones shipments were likely to reach 225.4 million units.
This represents an increase of 9.2 per cent over the 206.5 million units shipped in 2019.
"In contrast to the recent declines in the new smartphone market, as well as the forecast for minimal growth in new shipments over the next few years, the used market for smartphones shows no signs of slowing down across all parts of the globe," said Anthony Scarsella, research manager with Idc's Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker.
"Refurbished and used devices continue to provide cost-effective alternatives to both consumers and businesses that are looking to save money when purchasing a smartphone," Scarsella added.

In the first acquisition since announcing their first-look deal, Warner Bros and Michael B. Jordan’s Outlier Society have acquired films rights to Marlon James’ new fantasy epic novel Black Leopard, Red Wolf.
Based in African mythology, Black Leopard, Red Wolf follows Tracker, who has a keen sense of smell. He’s hired to find a missing child against a backdrop of competing kingdoms and violent political upheaval. The story touts a wild cast of characters including a witch, a shape-shifting leopard, a murderous hyena, and conjoined twins. It’s the first book in James’ Dark Star Trilogy where African myth, fantasy and history come together.
James will remain an Ep on the project. Anonymous Content and Ellen Levine of Trident Media Group brokered the deal. The Riverhead Books novel hit shelves Tuesday.
James is the Booker Prize-winning and New York Times-bestselling author of A Brief History of Seven Killings.

Winstone Quits Booze
Ray Winstone has quit partying when he shoots movies because his on-set hangovers became unbearable.
The Departed star Winstone loved indulging in late-night drinking sessions during filming when he was a young man, but he struggles to cope with the after-effects as he ages.

Mickey Rourke (l.) and 50 Cent get down to business in 13.
The 2010 thriller movie 13 features one of the most testosterone-filled casts we’ve seen since The Expendables, unless you consider Jason Statham (The Mechanic), Mickey Rourke (Passion Play), Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson (Set-Up), Ben Gazarra (Looking for Palladin), Ray Winstone (Tracker), Alexander Skarsgård (TV’s True Blood) and Michael Shannon (The Runaways) to be shrinking violets!
The independent film stars Sam Riley (Control) as Vince Ferro, a desperate man who assumes a false identity to secure a mysterious job that promises a potential fortune. Things don’t exactly go right for Vince after he finds himself conscripted as a numbered participant in an underworld Russian roulette competition, where gamblers place bets on who’ll survive when the trigger is pulled. The stakes are high, yes, but the payout is more than he can resist.

Trollhunter - is one of those festival favourites that somehow slipped through the cracks here at Qe. Oh, we knew all about it, we just never caught a screening for review or promoted it for some reason. Chances are you've seen the amazing trailers from Magnet that have come out since the film was picked up for distro. Know though that this is a Norwegian film with subs and that it's supposed to be pretty stellar. Looking forward to finally watching it.
Blitz - is a UK cop/action flick starring Jason Statham. It's been getting middling reviews since it's release in the UK, some calling it out as being on par with a Mftv movie. Seems like one I'd check out if I was in the mood for some action though.
Roger Corman's Sword And Sorcery Collection - featuring Deathstalker, Deathstalker II, The Warrior And The Sorceress & Barbarian Queen.

Lionsgate will release the 2010 New Zealand-set action-adventure drama Tracker starring Ray Winstone (44 Inch Chest) and Temuera Morisson (Couples Retreat) on DVD on Aug. 23 for the list price of $26.98.
Ray Winstone means business when it comes to accused killer Temuera Morrison in Tracker.
Directed by veteran British TV director Ian Sharp (The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne), the movie is set in the New Zealand outback and follows former Boer War soldier Arjan (Winstone) as he tracks down Maori seaman (Morrison), who’s been accused of killing a fellow soldier. Kereama is finally captured by Arjan…right before learning that his captive is innocent of all crimes. This leaves Arjan to decides on what to do with Kereama in a situation where only one man can emerge from the outback alive.

This handsome-looking period yarn stars Ray Winstone (sporting a surprisingly convincing South African accent) as an ex-farmer turned fighter from the Boer Wars of the late 1800’s who, upon arrival in New Zealand, is tasked by the British army in tracking down a Maori seaman (Temuera Morrison) who has been wrongly accused of killing an officer, having been caught during a roll in the hay (literally) with a young English woman.
With a posse in tow and two divergent routes, Winstone splits from the other soldiers and goes it alone. He soon finds his bounty, but what he also (unexpectedly) finds is a growing fondness and kinship towards the Maori, who on top of being on the run for a crime he didn’t commit, has to suffer the indignation of fleeing across land which belonged to his forefathers. Winstone soon finds himself at odds with the British over the...

This is the DVD/Blu-ray review for Tracker, directed by Ian Sharp and starring Ray Winstone, Temuera Morrison, Gareth Reeves, Mark Mitchinson, Daniel Musgrove and Andy Anderson. Following the Boer war, former South African farmer Arjan van Diemen (Ray Winstone) lands in New Zealand looking to start a new life. He’s had enough of war and is still grieving the loss of his wife and daughters. Almost immediately he’s drawn into a new drama. A Maori man, Kereama (Temuera Morrison) is falsely accused of killing a British soldier, fleeing into the New Zealand wilderness. Given van Diemen’s superior tracking skills, local army man Major Carlysle (Gareth Reeves) recruits him to track the fugitive. Van Diemen successfully locates the Kereama and forces him to return to face justice. However, the Maori continues to plead his innocence – claims which eventually begin to work their way under the God-fearing van Diemen’s skin.

As seen in movies such as Attack The Block and Anuvahood, British cinema's current obsession with painting our youths as less than saintly continues with director Peter Mullan's latest.
Unlike the above titles, this one is set in early-70s Glasgow and attempts to tackle the causes of such wayward behaviour. In confining events mostly to a housing estate and neighbouring school, the consequences of violence are always there, up close, to remind the perpetrators of their actions. Starting off as an impossibly apple-cheeked class swot, John McGill (played as an older boy by Connor McCarron) seems to be the kid with the most potential. We quickly learn he's been plagued with huge negative influences, such as an abusive, alcoholic father (played by Mullan), a big brother who is a legendary local hard man, and the endless turf wars the neighbourhood teens ruck over.

Trailers are an under-appreciated art form insofar that many times they’re seen as vehicles for showing footage, explaining films away, or showing their hand about what moviegoers can expect. Foreign, domestic, independent, big budget: I celebrate all levels of trailers and hopefully this column will satisfactorily give you a baseline of what beta wave I’m operating on, because what better way to hone your skills as a thoughtful moviegoer than by deconstructing these little pieces of advertising? Some of the best authors will tell you that writing a short story is a lot harder than writing a long one, that you have to weigh every sentence. What better medium to see how this theory plays itself out beyond that than with movie trailers? The Legend Of The Mighty Soap Trailer When I was a kid I watched HBO relentlessly. Let the silly season commence with this expensive comic-book movie, which takes full advantage of its second-tier superhero, free casting rein and Asgard-sized budget to deliver some premium disposable spectacle. Sneak Peek "Tracker", the British-New Zealand action-thriller set in 1903, directed by Ian Sharp and written by Nicolas van Pallandt, starring Ray Winstone ("Sexy Beast") and Temuera Morrison :
"...'Arajan' (Winstone), a Dutch Afrikaner veteran of the Boer War and master tracker, is promised a bounty to capture 'Kereama' (Morrison), a Māori seafarer accused of killing a British soldier. Keremea, who protests his innocence, repeatedly escapes and is recaptured. Arajan and Kereamea get to know and respect each other, before a showdown with British troops led by 'Major Carlyle' (Gareth Reeves)..."
Shot on location in Queensland, the film’s wild, striking landscapes offer a stark contrast to the violence of colonialism.
More than a lesson in colonial history, "Tracker" is a meditation on victimhood and transcendence, encouraging viewers to consider the persecuted individuals in the film.

If there's one Ray you'd call on to track down a wanted fugitive across a barren wilderness, it'd be Ray Winstone. Actually it'd probably be Ray Mears, but let's assume he's busy stalking gnus on the plains of Africa or bothering racoons in the Rockies.Winstone it is then, which is handy because his new movie Tracker calls on him to do just that. Set in New Zealand at the turn of the last century, it casts him as burly outdoorsman and Boer War veteran Arjan van Diemen, promised a giant bounty if he can capture a Maori seaman (Attack Of The Clones' Temuera Morrison) accused of killing a British soldier. As you can see from this clip, there's a twist: Kereama is innocent of the crime. Van Diemen, meanwhile, doesn't have much time for the English, what with being a Boer and all, giving the pair common cause for an uneasy alliance.

Goddamn do I love Ray Winstone. In fact, I love pretty much all of this trailer, even though it's a little heavy on the melodrama at times. The film is called Tracker, and to save time, here's the synopsis:
An ex-Boer war guerrilla in New Zealand is sent out to bring back a Maori accused of killing a British soldier. Gradually they grow to know and respect one another but a posse, led by the British Commanding officer is close behind and his sole intention is to see the Maori hang
Ray Winstone plays Arjan, the tracker, and Temeura Morrison plays Kereama, his Maori prey. Obviously, the part about them either teaming up or Winstone's character taking pity on him is a foregone conclusion, but I'm cool with that. It has all the markings of one of those lower-budget, thoughtful films with stunning cinematography (it's filmed on location in New Zealand) and excellent acting.

Tracker is one of those minor movies I'm trying to keep on my radar. (And on yours.) It's a film out of New Zealand directed by Ian Sharp, and starring Ray Winstone as a Boer War veteran who is hired to find and bring to justice a Maori man (Temuera Morrison) accused of killing a British officer. We've seen a couple photos [1] of the actors in character, and now there's a trailer, which you can see below. This trailer makes clear that there's not much mystery to the story, but hopefully there will be value in seeing Ray Winstone and Temuera Morrison play these two parts. Frankly, it's not a great trailer and some of the dialogue is way too on the nose for me. But we don't often see this sort of film any more, so I'm hoping that once all the setup is out of the way there...

A small, but pivotal role in the upcoming Green Lantern movie has been cast. Temuera Morrison, who portrayed Jango Fett in the Star Wars film series, will play the Green Lantern Corps member who paves the way for Ryan Reynolds joining the interplanetary police force.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Morrison will play Abin Sur, the Green Lantern character whose power ring eventually finds its way to protagonist Hal Jordan (played by Reynolds).
Morrison, who recently finished filming Tracker, a thriller co-starring Ray Winstone, is one of two actors from New Zealand who have joined the cast of the superhero action film. A Maori, Morrison became one of New Zealand’s most famous actors for playing abusive husband Jake "the Muss" Heke in the 1994 thriller Once Were Warriors, directed by Lee Tamahori.

We've just got our hands on some brand new poster art for Tracker and thought we'd share. Tracker is an upcoming action thriller from prominent New Zealand TV director Ian Sharp. It stars Ray Winstone and Temuera Morrison and sounds a lot like The Propositon, so lets hope it follows through on the promise.
Synopsis:
An ex-Boer war guerrilla in New Zealand is sent out to bring back a Maori accused of killing a British soldier. Gradually they grow to know and respect one another but a posse, led by the British Commanding officer is close behind and his sole intention is to see the Maori hang.
Three posters for Tracker after the break.
Head to Quiet Earth to see the stills.

Ray Winstone (“Beowulf”) stars opposite Mel Gibson in Martin Campbell’s new thriller, “Edge of Darkness.” The emotionally charged film, set at the intersection of politics and big business, tells the tale of Thomas Craven (Gibson), a veteran homicide detective for the Boston Police Department and a single father.
When his only child, 24-year-old Emma (Bojana Novakovic), is murdered on the steps of his home, everyone assumes that he was the target. But Craven begins to suspect otherwise and embarks on a mission to uncover the truth. His investigation leads him into a dangerous world of corporate cover-ups, government collusion and murder – and to shadowy government operative Darius Jedburgh (Winstone), who has been sent in to clean up the evidence.
The award-winning British actor talked about what attracted him to the project, how fun it was to play his character, and the status of his upcoming film, “Cleo.” Here’s...

Thompson is at this year's Afm negotiating with sales agents to roster the rights to St Paul's latest venure.
St Paul most recently wrote, directed and co-ordinated the stunts for "Freight," which details the story of a gang of Russian people traffickers operating in the North of England. That film has been snaffled for U.K. and

"Red Snow" is based on a true story of a serial killer in Alaska whose killing spree hit the headlines in the 1980s.
Thompson will produce alongside veteran distributor Alan McQueen.

I've been hoping to see Temuera Morrison get a role where he could be as intense and amazing as he was in Once Were Warriors. Star Wars sure didn't provide it; nor did Couples Retreat. Could Tracker be the one to do it? With Morrison working opposite Ray Winstone in a chase film set at the turn of the century in New Zealand, I'm hoping so. Empire has two new character portrait shots of Winstone and Morrison as the two leads of the film. Winstone plays Arjan, a South African guerrilla fighter and vet of the Second Anglo-Boer War, who accepts a bounty contract to hunt a Maori seaman named Kereama (Morrison). The latter is accused of killing a British soldier. As Empire describes it, "what follows is a cat and mouse pursuit through the varied landscape of Nz with both hunter and huntee testing their bushcraft and wits against...
