"Last Dance" tells the story of finding purpose and passion in your life after the death of a loved one with funny yet heartfelt approach. Our protagonist, Germain, decides to join a dance group led by the actual real-life artist La Ribot, which his late wife used to be part of. He even becomes a muse for La Ribot, who makes him the center character in her latest contemporary dance performance. Eventhough hesitant at first, Germain finds joy and also a way to connect with his wife in dancing, which shows us that our life doesn't have to end after losing our partner and instead of endless grieving we can accept it as a new beginning (without forgetting about our deceased loved one). Eventhough "Last Dance" is marketed as a comedy besides a few humorous scenes we also get to see many emotional and moving moments, that help to deepen and intensify the message of the film. Overall it is a simple feel-good film perfect for a work-day evening.
