For the record, I love Jimmy Neutron. It's like one of the best and coolest Nicktoons of the 2000s and one of my favorites. Planet Sheen, on the other hand, is downright pitiful. Why the Sam Hill did Nickelodeon ever come up with a spinoff this lame? It was disappointing when Jimmy Neutron ended in 2006, but I guess it's better off being stayed that way. Planet Sheen has no original Jimmy Neutron characters, except Sheen, but are replaced by freaks. Even the humor sucks. Meh.
I used to watch Planet Sheen, I used to like it. But now I hate it, why? Because nobody asked Sheen to get his own spin-off series, Sheen become very annoying when he is the main protagonist in his own show, the variety of this cartoon may be colorful, but it is also very ugly. Oh and did I mention that there is an alien version of Carl in this one. (At least we get to see Carl in one episode) Planet Sheen is an awful spin-off from Jimmy Neturon and thank god Nickelodeon canceled it after one season. I give Planet Sheen a 2.3/10

Planet Sheen is not a good show. The main character is obnoxious, the plots are nonsensical in a bad way, and the show is physically and emotionally draining to watch.
Which is why it may surprise you that Planet Sheen gets my highest recommendations.
You might've heard someone describe something as being like a car crash, where it's terrible, but you can't look away. Planet Sheen isn't like a car crash. It's like a traffic jam where every car is still moving seventy miles an hour. No matter how assaulting it may be to the ears, eyes, and brain, as soon as you hop in, you just gotta see all fifty episodes. (Twenty-six twenty-two minute blocks, most are two segments, aside from the first and last episodes which are both specials.) Everything about this show is so bizarre, but in such a warped way that nothing else could give you the exact same experience. I'm not one of those people who goes "This must've been made on drugs!" when anything shows a slimmer of creativity, but I am legitimately not sure how humans could've made this.
One of my friends suggested it was God trying to communicate with us, and we couldn't understand his message, and I am slightly convinced that may be true.
Planet Sheen does have a few legitimate merits, sure, a couple of characters, particularly the main villains, are at least moderately entertaining, and for the standards of CG, the animation is pretty expressive, if not a smidge too bright. But if you're watching Planet Sheen for Dorkus and Pinter, you're watching it for all the wrong reasons. If you can find the time, I recommend you put on this show, and watch it with a friend, because it is absolutely nuts. If you aren't willing to do the whole show, however, I at least recommend "Torzilla," "ExpreSheenism," "Washing My Sheen," "Banana Quest," and "Gotta Go" for the true experience of it all. If my memory isn't bugged, I think "To Chill a Mocking Blurg" and "Stuck in the Riddle with You" were maybe the only episodes with an actual slimmer of quality, but that's a pretty strong "maybe."
I'd probably give this show a 3/10 on its own standards, but I gotta throw on at least one star for the experience it is. It's bad, yeah, but it's memorably bad.

Where to begin? Sure the animation is cheaply downgraded compared to Pixar and Dreamworks movies and some shows they offer, but even if that's what some say about Jimmy Neutron, at least that show has characters with depth that were not jokes and it has jokes that made it work, but here however, no one can see any charm in this cheap drug trip especially towards a once well likable and average smart character only to plunge into the most toned down ear piercing stereotype. After watching the trailer, I started getting the urge to stay away and I can clearly see why after a few episodes. It clearly shows that not a single heart was poured into this, just a bunch of decaying waste, and this alone is how I can sum this garbage fest up! As for the thumbs up lying "fans" who rated high this joke, you know it's not funny, and speaking of jokes, they are either forced (whether they work or not) or as weak as (out)dated ones and it only took 2 seasons for it to fall flat on its face (only to never see the light of day again) and thank god for that, yet you're clearly defending it like it should go on for no reason after showing that it doesn't care! The creators really need to erase this sour memory so that Jimmy Neutron can come back, so a true show like that with real characters and everything can live on!
I was about 22 in a bar on a Friday evening and caught the children's program, Planet Sheen, airing on Nickelodeon. I sat at the bar and just mindlessly watched it thinking nothing of the antics Sheen was up to on his planet, but I soon realized the dark message that was hidden within the creases of the show. The whole complex concept of Sheen possessing his own planet symbolizes the desires of mankind, to obtain total dominance of the world. Sheen is ranked top on the social hierarchy of this planets society, and uses his knowledge of earth to trick the inhabitants to thinking he is a god. Here is where the show reaches dark territory, revealing how the white male can manipulate impoverished countries into believing that they are the smartest beings when in reality they are just flawed individuals, no common than the ordinary man. We can see more of Sheen's incompetence by the locals he hangs around. The green slug-like alien Doppy, presumably to be a depiction of Sheen's companion Karl Wheezer, reveals the truth that Sheen is still a child, not experienced enough to rule over an alien race.
The next day I had to put my daughter down due to a terminal 8 tumor from birth. I didn't tell her that, I couldn't break her delicate heart. Holding her hand on the bed she leaned over and looked me in the eye asking, "Where do butterflies go during the winter?" Trying not to cry I said, "they go home, they go home."

I'm probably one of few fans who enjoyed this because I was so attached to Jimmy Neutron, but one thing I'll agree on no matter what is how unnecessary the spin-off was to Jimmy Neutron as it ruined the whole show -- just like what Fairly Odd Parents did, but Nickelodeon tended to ruin a lot of their best shows. They could've either kept Jimmy Neutron running and had this as a special episode for people to enjoy this a lot more. But I kept watching because I was curious about how residents of Retroville wondered what happened to Sheen. I mean whether you like it or not, I was hoping the show would've been wrapped up with Jimmy finding him on this planet, either having him demand he stays or goes home with Jimmy to Earth.
Planet Sheen is the greatest thing since Spy Kids 2: Islands of Lost Dreams. This show instantly cured my stage 6 clinical depression and upon viewing this I instantly gained 70 IQ points and the ability to levitate. My favorite character is obviously Sheen, because his entire character arc is actually an amazing metaphor for our society as a whole. In fact when he lifted in the rocket in the first that was a metaphor for Noah's Ark. Clearly this masterpiece puts the likes of The Titanic and Garfield, A Tale of Two Kitties to absolute shame, my family tried to restrain me from watching this show for the 278th time in a row and attempted to tell me to go get a job but I couldn't because of the fact that Planet Sheen is the greatest television program in the history of mankind and I would probably lose all will to live if someone were to take me away.

Although this show is not as good as jimmy neutron its still pretty good and is not as bad as most people say. Sheen is one of my favorite characters in jimmy neutron and some of the new characters are very funny like nesmith and doppy. The animation is not very good and the villains were kind of lame but still a little bit underrated in my opinion.

Planet Sheen has got to be one of the worst shows from Nickelodeon since October 2nd 2010, this show ruined The Adventures Of Jimmy Neutron Boy Genious which is way better than this. Sheen becomes a very annoying character in the show and he was being a dumbass for pressing a button from a rocket that leads him to another planet. Thank god this show got cancelled in February 15th from 2013.

I have a hard time believing that I actually used to like this abomination when I was younger. I was blinded into liking it by my interest in Jimmy Neutron, which is much better. If you're a fan of Jimmy Neutron, you probably won't be a fan of this.
Even though this is a spinoff of JN, little to no connection to it is made here, and the latter completely ignores the events of the former. Unlike the former, the plot of this doesn't make sense. Also, the theme song has all sorts of weird and nonsensical sound effects in it, which makes it super-duper annoying. Sheen is the only returning character here. He was originally a nerdy, hyperactive, wacky, dimwitted, and hilarious goofball, but here he is annoying, obnoxious, self-centered, and immature. The writer of Jimmy Neutron has said that Sheen was fun to write, but only in small doses. These circumstances are signs that comic reliefs aren't always meant to be the main protagonist.
Where are all the other Jimmy Neutron characters? Some of the new characters are carbon copies of the old characters. For example, there is an alien who looks and acts like Carl Wheezer and even has the same voice as him. Why couldn't Carl go to Zeenu with Sheen? Sheen dates Libby in JN, but he dates a blue alien here for some reason. What happened to Libby? Did Sheen break up with her? Throughout the series, Sheen tries to get back to Earth, but I heard he decides to stay on Zeenu in the series finale, which makes the whole storyline pointless, though I've never seen the series finale.
Don't watch Planet Sheen. Watch Jimmy Neutron instead.

Where can I start, planet sheen is the best anime ever created.
This anime cured my terminal brain cancer and grew my left leg back. Every character in this masterpiece was magnificently written and modeled.
I got attached to the whole cast, from Sheen and his wacky shenanigans to Dorkus and his depressing backstory, Doppy's character development was the best I have ever seen in an anime.
The manga was better tho.

I don't quite get all of the hate for this animated show. I understand that Jimmy Neutron is considered the better show, but Planet Sheen is very silly, and often quite funny. I didn't think this at first, though. Sheen is an ignorant, self-centered, irritating character. He is surrounded (mostly) by alien idiots who adore him for no good reason. But once I got over those minor-bordering-on-major annoyances, I started enjoying Planet Sheen very much. Sheen and his associates may be annoying, but they are also good-hearted, loyal, and funny as all get-out. And more importantly, my 7 year old niece and nephew LOVE Planet Sheen. Sheen makes for a nice 20 minute after-dinner babysitter.

According to my opinion, this show is not lame. Plot is pretty good, because there are some minuses. At first, Sheen must be smarter and more attentive. At second, I need more awesome episodes. At third, I want to know, what's matter with Jimmy Neutron. I miss him. And at fourth, I need more new interesting characters. As I say, every successful project must have more or bit less successful project. Like "The Adventures of jimmy Neutron" I am fond of "The Amazing World of Gumball" too. I count, that "Gumball" is prequel to planet Sheen, who tells, what mattered on Zennu before Sheen, because Zennu inhabitants are similar to anthropomorphic animals, plants, mushrooms, items and mutant humans. i hope "Planet Sheen" continue producing.

I like Planet Sheen moderately, let me start with the pros, Pros: The King, Cyclops Bat, Nesmith, Cutaway Gags, The Theme Song, Animation
Cons: Sheen's IQ Sheen telling Nesmith he was wrong even though he was right at the near end. The Concept, Lasting one season.
Seriously, I really hate when Sheen corrects Nesmith even though he was right about what was going to happen after it happens, it's just really annoying, and pathetic of Sheen to do.
I guess the show is decent enough to carry on its 26 episodes of the season, but I have no idea of why the show got canceled, and what the heck kind of ending was that on Banana Quest? They didn't return to Earth, such a freaking disappointment for the last episode, 6/10 is my final thoughts.

I've seen the entirety of Planet Sheen over sixteen times. I can safely say, clocking in at one season, this is the best show EVER created. Anyone who disagrees should see a doctor because they are mentally deranged. My favorite character is Sheen of course. As he has the most charisma and intricate character development in the show. I could watch Planet Sheen forever.

Planet Sheen is a giga-chad of a show, speaking of which, the main character reminded me much of giga-chad. Jerry Seinfeld's appearance on this show is iconic!!. An age old tale, told by a new and hip traveler named Sheen. The Monke (no racist tho) is a banger simian. I grew up on Planet Sheen, it filled a hole in my heart which was previously inhabited by a father figure. Myself, Bingus, Rolly, and Boberanian all believed that this show is, unequivocally, a banger. Enjoy.!
As a fan of Nickelodeon's Planet Sheen, I was excited when my son Jamie got the chance to be an extra on the show. However, this review takes an unexpected turn due to a distressing experience. During filming, producers deliberately pepper-sprayed Jamie during his voice acting, leading to significant suffering. Despite the severity of the situation, Jamie did not receive medical attention and was left to endure discomfort.
While Planet Sheen itself is a 10-star show, with imaginative storytelling and engaging humor, the behind-the-scenes treatment was shockingly unprofessional. This incident has deeply affected our view of the production process and our family's mental stability. The show's creativity is undeniable, but the lack of care for cast members is troubling.

This show is so Cool and radical. I watched this show and it was the best. Aseefa had beautiful hair and voice. Sheen is super hilarious. Princess Oom has a very cute voice. The scenes where she licks Sheen just make me laugh my rear off. The episode Drak a Bye Baby was really adorable. I would come to anyone's house and put their heads between their ears if I hear them give another bad review on that show. This show is perfect for a person to train to fight evil and go on adventures. Mr. Nesmith is very smart just like me. So start liking this show please. I don't mean to say bad words at people who disagree with me about stuff that I like or don't like. When I say bad words at them, I get embarrassed and tell them that I could explain that I get angry.

My daughter and I love this show!!! We laugh our butts off watching it. The characters are awesome and the writing is pure genius. I love Sheen more in this show than I did in Jimmy Neutron and I liked him a lot in that show. I wish Nickelodeon would still show this but alas they would rather show lame teeny-bopper shows like victorious and big time rush.Luckily it can be seen on Nicktoons. I am glad I upgraded my satellite package too include Nicktoons recently!!! Unfortunately I haven't seen too many new episodes except for one that was about Nesmith getting sick and Sheen and Doppy looking for the cure. I hope they keep making new episodes. I will continue to watch reruns because I love the show that much!!!

I enjoyed this show when it came out when I was 19, and I actually liked this show looking back at it. They should bring this show back on the air on 90's are All That and get rid of the crappy shows like CatDog. After this show and Wild Grinders got negative reviews, Nicktoons Network was airing a bunch of crappy shows like ChalkZone, Tak and The Power of Juju and The Mighty B. Pretty much saying that NN was on its last legs until they got back on their toes with shows like Sanjay and Craig, Breadwinners, Oggy and The Cockroaches and so on. I also don't see why people don't like this show, maybe it's due to the fact that writing made less scene. Just because there are very few scentless jokes here and there, it doesn't make a show bad. It's only if they go overboard with it.

I like Jimmy Neutron but I like Sheen even more. The little moral lessons are fun and the addition of the monkey as a straight man is classic. The transformation of Sheen's character is the whole point of this show and it's best feature. It is strange though that Sheen is not more focused on getting home, but given his set up he is doing pretty well. He has a girl he likes, a home, and even a friend that reminds him of Karl. He seems to rejoice in the strangeness of his new surroundings, even participating at times. The episode where he planted a tortilla seed being a case in point. I expect a home sickness episode to come along sometime... This is by far one of the funniest shows nick has produced.
