This series is based around the concept of this awkward comedy, and Zach nails his acting and interviews almost every single time. The whole show is just punking a ton of people, and Zach is a genius in this department, very similar styles to actors such as Steve Carrell. He shows no limits to what he will do in order to allow for his audience to laugh. Overall, to fans of comedy, I think this is a must watch.
Zach is freakin hilarious in this. From Obama to Jon Hamm, his interactions with the guests are absurd and the best.

I just saw this (faked) Talk-Show recently and it was the most funny thing i have seen in a long time. Sure there are just 8 episodes by the time i am making this review but you definitely have my recommendation. It is one of the few shows you like to turn off while watching because Mr. Galifianakis is hilariously awkward and embarrassing in a way that makes the viewer feel uncomfortable as well and i love that!
Most of the guests are doing a great job just being confronted with these questions and they react in a way that you have never seen in any of their actual movies. For example have you ever seen Ben Stiller being mad and/or angry in a way that you do not want to laugh at that? No? Then go and check it out!
You can find most of the 3 - 5 min. clips on Youtube so go and check it out!

I stumbled across this Between Two Ferns and I can't get enough of Zack G. The guy is absolutely halarious. I love the guy he's just so darn funny. I love the facial expressions of his guests they are priceless. Sean Penn was so funny with his deadpan demeanor. Sean was GREAT. Zack does a great job. I wish him all the best. He's the genuine article.

Between Two Ferns is one of those shows that doesn't fail to make us laugh even after re-watching for several times.
Zach Galifianakis is spectacularly funny and brings great chemistry with his guests.. The guest list is very impressive with the likes of mainstream actors to politicians.
Although it is scripted, their delivery is likeable with no shortage for lol moments.
I watched it on youtube and it leaves me wanting more than just a few minutes.
Overall, this is a standout show and has a great re-watch value.

I have watched this many times and still fall about laughing at jokes I heard before this guy is simply a comedic genius.
Now the more I watch this the more I think every single little detail has been scripted and agreed with the stars there is no way they would have let it be released otherwise cause they always come out practically every single time apart from Steve Carell looking stupid cheated belittled made fun of.
Those reasons only would make me say that it is entirely scripted top to bottom left to right but we are always left with the possibility that it was not.
I do not know what has been written about this series and whether Zach has actually said whether it is one way or the other but in many ways none of this matters. The humour contained therein is awesome one cannot watch this and not fall about laughing totally recommend it to all humour lovers.

Seems to be aiming for the "so bad it's good" form of satire, but unfortunately only gets to be "so bad". Not funny, and cringeworthy to watch. Luckily episodes are short, but I still want my 6 minutes of my life back from watching two.

I don't know how show has the rating it has or maybe it's just not my humor. First off I 've seen these actors when they do real interviews and this is all staged from start to finish and none of it is genuine like the other reviewer said. I watched six episodes and I did not once laugh. Like I said the humor might just not be my style. I think its only for hardcore Zach Galifianakis fans that just die to be his fan boy fan or something like that. It's just downright terrible and I will never watch anything else that has Galifianakis has done. He was only good in the hangover and that's where he ended for me everything else he's done is mediocre in my opinion.
I love satire, wit and clever humor. But this is simply not funny.
The script is partly to blame, then the direction, and then Zak's poor execution.
But I can see it will appeal to certain viewers, probably mostly American.
The guests are obviously told to have a bland or uncomfortable look in their face when asked apparently awkward questions by Zak, but it's like a weak skit.

So I am required to post six hundred characters for a review. It is an awkward comedy that is simply not funny. On rare moments the show might elicit a giggle. Short of that the series is simply dumb. Yes, it is an off the cuff talk show in which the guests don't know what to expect, but it simply just doesn't work. Thankfully the episodes are only 7 minutes long. Otherwise, I would have to shut each episode off. Now I have to come up with more senseless nonsense. I am surprised by the number of high ratings for this show. I could not recommend for this show to be watched by anyone. Quick pass for this one.
