This is a very exciting story with many good twists. It tells the story of intelligence - how they work together to prevent terrorism and how things can go wrong too. It present many thoughtful dilemmas in such a specialised service that has to be secret at least to some extend. The plot is really good, the actors do a great job. It could have been 10 if it was not for the last five minutes that are clumsy and feels like they ran out of time or suddenly wanted to tell a whole new story. It could have ended elegant with uncertainty, but unfortunately it does not. Really sad since all the rest is great.
"Munich Massacre" (September 1972) was, is, and always will be a tragedy. The feeling that this is some sort of the cash grab TV Series that was made for the right time (due to the fact that it is 50 years after the "Munich Massacre" and 2022 European Championships) is very hard to go away. However, it is a good detective with a well made plot and you are interested in what will happen next. Even though it is a good detective that holds viewer's attention, the average TV Series atmosphere and clichés affect the quality of the picture. Because of it, you will not be disappointed or have a feeling of wasted time but at the same time not have crazy happiness. With that being said, it has pressure like in a movie "The International" (2009) and shifts like in a movie "A Most Wanted Man" (2014) but it is not "The Bourne" franchise or "Inspector (Kommissar) Rex" (1994-2004) TV Series. If you are a fan of detectives and thrillers, from the gastronomy point of view it is a tasty muffin from a local coffee shop.

It starts slow, but will grow on you. It feels very real and has a very good rhythm. Till the end you will not know who is behind this. There is always something going on. Sometimes maybe too many things at the same time. But still gripping. And very nice how they used so many languages. I love shows like this. It feels very much like Fauda, Bodyguard, or Homeland or any other thriller like that. Good score. Loved the soccer parts. I can definitely recommend it. Casting is very good. Also camera and editing. The show deals with political issues which are very sensitive but told in a very sensitive not cliche kind of way. Loved it.

After watching first 3 episodes I need to say that this series definitely has something special in it. Nice to watch a city and it's environment which you know in TV series. Episodes are made as much as realistic as possible. It's feel like as a Sky version of Teheran but unique in its own ways. Episodes are planned well and made me watch it whole in a single stretch till now.
Casting is pretty decent as well. I would definitely recommend it. Hope Sky Germany will bring similiar good originals again.
I'm waiting to watch next half of the Season. I hope it won't disappoint. I will keep it for 9/10 for the moment.

Binged it all the way through. I recommend to watch all episodes after another. Starts as a slow burn, but really complex and smart. And looking at recent news also very up to date. Thank you. Season 2? I want to know what is happening to them. Acting, camera, music, editing everything at a very high level. Something you don't see so often out of Germany. Liked the realism look and feel to it. Thankfull for not being too glossy like everything else right now. Loved the ending score at episode 1. If someone could tell me? I was looking for it, no luck. Is it part of the score from Michael Kadelbach and where could I get it?

Well finally a mainstream series which shows what events are like in the 21st century ie never oh never what they seem ...
Is it a hardcore radical Muslim group is it Mossad is it a bunch of lesbian grannies in Dresden with a grudge against the milkman?

- of course i am not going to tell you here .... what would be the point in that....
- what i can tell you is that it is very well-made and that the puppy may get shot in the head at the end or maybe the puppy was in charge from the start and got the cat to shoot him in the head but from the angle you saw it you did not see it was a water-gun or that the puppy wore a translucent bullet-proof helmet. That i can tell you .... maybe the puppy was a crocodile ...
- the acting is truly excellent from all the main players really convincing; could not and would separate the 3 main actors Seyneb Saleh , Yousef 'Joe' Sweid , Sebastian Rudolph here for skill and adding to the atmosphere; no doubt we will see them again soon elsewhere if this series does as well as it should; personally had only ever seen Sebastian Rudolph before and he really has a presence which cannot be ignored
- I thought it might get trite or guessable after a while but it did not go that way; in fact and that is why it is good it does not go the way anyone would think. Did i possibly hear the words Deep-State? Maybe i did maybe i did not ...
- it covers a lot of themes dear to Germany: guilt /history/reparation. It has a heavy mood a lot of night scenes it has a Gothic atmosphere and will never cheer anyone but it is very very good
- Highly recommended for anyone who likes a good dark tale with many twists.

Munich Games, as a German series, does not have to hide behind its international competitors. The story is well told and excellently written right up to the end.
The cast clearly stands out and convinces with its closeness to reality.
Munich Games is different from the usual series one is used to in Germany. It is fast-paced and does not rely on the narrative structures that are common in Germany. Here, the plot is not given away in the first episode. The audience is invited to join in.
I am amazed and thrilled by the sensitive portrayal of interpersonal relationships that go into depth. Munich Games is therefore more than just a thriller. It is a thriller with a lot of drama that lives from interpersonal difficulties.
This series cleverly plays with prejudices that I, as a viewer, could not escape and was tricked into believing. Why there is not more publicity for this series in Germany is a mystery to me. I recommend this series to all people who appreciate high quality entertainment and congratulate the producers on this masterpiece.
I hope that this series will be a worldwide success. A second season would be a pleasure. My fingers are crossed.
