Disney+ has unveiled the teaser and key art for the eagerly awaited new Original series “The Full Monty.” This eight-part series, which comes from the producers of the legendary BAFTA Award-winning film, will debut only on Disney+ in Canada on June 14.

The comedy-drama will explore the gang’s happier, sillier, and more desperate times as it reveals what happened to them after they put their outfit back on. It will also show how, in the intervening years, the fiercely humorous world of these working-class heroes, who are still based in Sheffield, has transformed.

The teen daughter of Gaz Schofield, Destiny Schofield, who will be portrayed by rising talent Talitha Wing, is also introduced in the teaser.

We’re getting a first look at FX’s The Full Monty, the eight-part follow-up to the BAFTA-winning movie. FX has released some of the first images from the series that will premiere in June (date Tba) and stream exclusively in the U.S. on Hulu.

The original movie’s screenwriter Simon Beaufoy (Slumdog Millionaire) returns, along with co-writer Alice Nutter (Accused), and Uberto Pasolini (Nowhere Special) also coming back as executive producer.

The new original series reunites the original lead cast, including Robert Carlyle (“Trainspotting,” “Once Upon a Time”) as Gaz, Mark Addy (“Game of Thrones,” “A Knight’s Tale”) as Dave, Lesley Sharp (“Before We Die,” “Scott and Bailey”) as Jean, Hugo Speer (“Britannia,” “Shadow and Bone”) as Guy, Paul Barber (“The Dumping Ground,” “Gloves Off”) as Horse, Steve Huison as Lomper, Wim Snape (“The Beaker Girls,” “Gentleman Jack”) as Nathan and Tom Wilkinson (“Batman Begins,” “Michael Clayton”) as Gerald. The show, which was about out of work men who formed a male revue, will also expand the cast, featuring children and grandchildren of the returning characters.
