The ferry the Goranger team travel in and relax aboard (while traveling to an island) is called the Sunflower Sapporo, which is a real-life (and still active) ferry. The original owners, Nippon High-Speed Ferries (Nippon Kôsoku Fêrî), was one of this film's sponsors. It was also featured in other tokusatsu (Japanese special effects) films such as Kamen Rider V3 vs. Destron Mutants (1973) and Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (1974).
