The series seems to be a mixture of crime/ thriller/ whodunnit and a kind of family drama of the super-rich.
The first episode wasn't bad, but it wasn't a spectacular highlight either. Good: The actors are all very convincing (Kidman and Schreiber in particular are extremely good and perform great), most of the dialogue fit well and the atmosphere is harmonious. The setting (The Kennedy property in Cape Cod probably served as a model) is really high quality and very convincing.
But: the story is a bit boring, because you've seen something like this too many times before. The many clichés are also very annoying.
I'm not sure if I'll keep on watching - Probably yes, because there are a lot of series that are significantly worse. I wish for more suspense and less drama...
