Image Entertainment has set the pay-per-view and VOD release date for comedian Lewis Black‘s ninth stand-up special, Lewis Black: Old Yeller – Live At The Borgata. The show will premiere live Saturday, August 24 at 9:30 Pm Et and will be the first comedy special to air simultaneously on all cable, satellite and telco platforms — among the outlets participating are Xfinity, Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications, DirecTV, Dish, Cablevision, Charter Communications, At&T U-Verse and Verizon FiOS. The event will be available in Sd and HD, and replays on the platforms will follow. Among the former Daily Show regular’s recent stand-up specials are the feature-length Stark Raving Black in 2010 (which got a theatrical run) and In God We Rust in 2011, both of which were acquired by premium net Epix.
